If you have some of the Dread Wastes zone buffs, then using Taoshi's Sap on the guards doesn't work; you are immediately put into combat by using it, breaking your stealth and the entire point of the sap.

For some unexplained reason they brought back the same klaxxi'va council npcs that were killed during dread wastes quesline by the previous empress shek'zeer

The first objective of the quest is to meet with Taoshi. She is not in the cave at this point. She is on top of a rock in the middle of the objective circle on normal, mountable terrain.

Don't bother with the extra button to Sap targets if you have selected Raining Blood from questing in the Dread Wastes, it will always trigger (even with your back to the target) and take you into combat, with Taoshi proceeding to attack the target, possibly pulling more mobs.

If this quest is doing your head in like it was to me, looking for a entry or a cave because it shows something below you on the mini map, there isn't one. You need to go back to Taoshi, the shadow-pan agent that put you in stealth (she is on a rock slightly to the north of the mantrid area if she is not with you). Talk to her to put you back into stealth, (don't change form if you are druid, it will alter how the quest goes and you might have to do that part again). Don't bother asking her to sap anything just avoid the sight circles, bust the amber if you haven't already, and then go south of the mantrid area following the path. She then runs up some rocks on the right and the next part of the quest line starts where you go with her on the kite out of there, shooting mantrid with fireworks as you go.

After being spotted, I lost the ability to sap and broke stealth. Going back to Taoshi gives you the buff, but you still can't stealth or sap and can't even mount up. Relogging might fix it.

This is, by far, one of the most absurd quests...and probably the worst questline...in all of 8.3. Sap causes mass aggro. Broken beyond belief.

Easy doing - I only had to figth 2 guards at same spot then rest was piece of cake. Remember those rings around guards can be hard to see for some of them triggering a figth when surprised by guard

This quest seems to be even more buggy than normal for Blizz's low standards.

Taoshi's sap button disappeared when I entered the area, you don't see the normal "eye" above the guards that can see you stealthed (pretty much everything can see you stealthed, look for their buff).

I tried a reload and didn't help.

I never leveled through this area so I don't have any of the buffs so no idea what caused it.

Just a mess.

Edit: this quest is even worse than I thought. I did it on another toon and this is what you should see if it's working correctly:

1) A sap button on your screen from Taoshi.
2) The guards should have the eye on top of them indicating they can see stealthed.
3) They should also have a circle around them letting you know how far they can see.

No idea how to get these features if you don't have them. Reloading didn't seem to help my other toon.

Edit again: I've done this on several toons now. If you are seeing the above bugs the best way to handle it is to walk out of the area a bit until you get the ability to mount again and then you can just fly to each amber piece. This may be the best way to do it period.

Edit yet again: I finally figured out how to make the quest work as it's meant to. If it's bugged out, just speak to Taoshi again and ask her to put you back in the shadows and that should fix it.

If you have any 'disguise' buff on, eg. Dressed to Kill from a blingtron bot, the stealth from Taoshi won't work. Remove the buff and you'll be able to stealth properly by speaking to Taoshi.

Mmm yes, forced slow walking, #3 on the list of Bliz's Favorite Ways to Add Play Time.

I didn't really need the stealth anyway, I just walked between the mobs and collected the quest objectives.

There is plenty of space between the mobs to avoid agro.

A Unified Swarm

Infiltrate Klaxxi'vess.

	Speak with Taoshi outside of Klaxxi'vess (1)
	Corrupted Amber destroyed (5)
	Escape Klaxxi'vess (1)

Description

It seemed as though the mantid had been producing the corrupted amber for some time before our... intervention. It stands to reason that they are keeping a stockpile of it somewhere. The Shado-Pan's scouts have been reporting an increased presence of the swarm's warriors in Klaxxi'vess. I would wager that they are guarding the corrupted amber. Meet me there. If we have a chance to destroy that amber, then we need to take it.
