On the day of launch, doing this quest doesn't seem to work if you target sleeping non-elite snapdragons. So far, the only way I can get the script to fire is by targeting elite sleeping snapdragons, and there is only one mob I've successfully gotten to count. The mob is at 68.6, 48.2.

For me, it only worked on the Snapdragon Terrormaw.

I noticed that it would work for me when I used it on the Terrormaw's that were agro-ed onto another player as well.

For me it only worked if i had my bag open a snapdragon terrormaw targeted and i clicked the scroll. You should see a blue beam cast from you and the snapdragon terrormaw will float into the air and have a blue bubble around it. Then you can kill it.

This appears to be "bugged" by design. The NPC wants you to use the scroll. The quest and its top text says it's optional.

Description

I have a favor to ask of you, if you would be so kind. Scrollsage Nola gave me this scroll to protect me on my adventures here in Nazjatar. She is a kind soul, but her scroll-work isn't always the most...accurate. You look like a brave adventurer who's seen a thing or two. Could you test out the scroll for me? While you're there you may as well cull their numbers a tad.
