Quest is currently bugged, if you abandon it and pick it back up it seems to work, some people were saying they had to do this several times.

If the quest is bugged for you, abandon it, dismount, then pick up the quest again.

If you end up NOT being able to interact with the glowing items after Daniss starts his ritual, abandon the quest and before you pick it back up, run away from the area. I ran up to the Turtle where the weekly quests are handed out to make sure the ritual was not in my memory.
After that, go back to Daniss Ghostdancer and reacquire the quest and it should work.

For those who, like me, first wasted five or ten panicked minutes looking through their leathworking recipes, then through wowhead trying to figure out how to get the recipe to make these drums:

1. The recipe will be added to your crafting as a "training" item immediately after you tell Daniss to "start the ritual."
2. Once the recipe has been added, the materials you have gathered will be clickable and usable.
3. The "ritual" essentially consists of you making the 6 drums while Daniss calls to Elune.
4. When the quest is complete, the recipe will disappear from your crafting list.

The new RAID has dropped for 8.2 (normal and heroic) and

I still had to abandon the quest and reacquire it TWICE before the icons for the quest materials even showed up.
After that, the rest went smoothly!

As of 7/22 (8.2), quest is still bugged as hell. I've dropped and retaken it over 90 times now. Not mounted, I've done maybe a fourth of those running away and coming back. There's no solid information. A GM essentially quoted the top response on this thread.

I was finally able to progress the quest once i finished some quest in Zuldazar. I think you need to be at a certain point in progresson. Once i finished *Return to Boralus* i hovered over the buckets because it puts you on the ship and they were clickable.

My experiences with this wacky quest and how I got it to "unlock":

At 120 I tried to get the quest going and was stuck, like everyone else. No mount was involved. I abandoned and tried again probably 15-20 times. I decided to keep the quest activated and try out the War Campaign quests which up until now I hadn't touched.

First I did the Zuldazar intro line to earn Ready for War: Zuldazar Foothold. That didn't activate the items.

But when I got Ready for War: Nazmir Foothold then the items became interactive. Before I completed the quest on the boat, they were not interactive. Immediately after I got the sub-achievement they were active.

I'm guessing I should have done that one first, but will let others tell me if my hunch is correct.

as of Dragonflight pre patch and profession revamp. the Recipe for Drum Of Primal Might no longer shows up in leatherworking journal, and is therefor unable to be crafted, hope for a fix soon.

This quest seems to be completely broken with the new 10.0 Professions UI. I know it was already problematic before, but the recipe DOES NOT appear in the crafting window, even after getting the pop up that it was learned.

Thankfully, after stressing for far too long, I found a solution.

1. Accept the quest
2. "Begin the ritual" option with NPC.
3. enter this command:
/run PickupSpell(293135)
4. An icon for crafting the drums will appear on your cursor -- drop it on your action bar.
5. Pick up the items for the quest if you haven't already.
6. Use the icon to craft the 6 items.
7. The end!

If this shows up the "You have learned how to create a new item" dialog but you cannot find it on your character, then go back and learn Legion leatherworking and open leatherworking and you will find how to create a "Drum of Primal Might" there, despite it being a BFA craftable

bugged Alience still will not work , you see regents but cannot pick them up so cannot finish quest chain

Also, I play mostly Alliance, and this is where I stumbled across this issue.

It appears this issue mostly resides with players on Alliance side, and Horde is mostly unaffected. My theory for this, is because Horde players are guided though the island of “Zandalar” as their main questline.

In anycase, my, issue with this quest; I literally could not pick up the highlighted crafting reagents, that are on the ground, which are required to craft the item(s) for this quest. I tried all the troubleshooting steps, and abandoned this quest, then picked it back up numerous times… It simply would not function.

However, for some unknown reason, after completion of Zuldazzar Foothold, and Nazmir foothold progression steps, under the achievement “Ready for War,” the items became intractable, and I was able to complete “Make Some Noise.”

Moreover, I’m not 100% sure if the order on these two achievement progression steps has any effect on this. Although, it could be important to point out, I had Zuldazzar Foothold completed first, then completed Nazmir foothold 2nd. Also, the quest, “Make some Noise” was already in my quest log, and I had spoken to Daniss Ghostdancer, and “started the ritual” before finishing the Nazmir Foothold quest.

At the end of the Nazmir Foothold questline, you’ll slay an NPC named “Captain Conrad,” then after that, I received the quest, “Return to Boralus,” once I received that, I talked to Desha Stormwallow, and she gives you the prompt “Take us back to Boralus.” I selected this option, and let her teleport me back. Once returning to Boralus, I turned in the questline, to Halford Wyrmbane, who will be right infront of you, granting the achievement progress “Nazmir Foothold,” for the achievement “Ready of War.” Then, after that, that was enough to bumped everything over, and I could interact with the highlighted reagents on the ground, which then allowed me to gather the supplies needed to finish this quest.

If this works for you, and helps guide you in the right direction, once you are finally able to pick up the reagents, you can use, if you so choose, " /run PickupSpell(293135) " which will allow you to put the recipe on your hot bar, or alternatively, go into the leather-working profession, and filter it for Kul Tiran leather working. When you select this filter, the recipe should be the first option. Then, craft your items, and you should hopefully be able to complete this quest.

I hope this helps, and I also hope this is valuable information for Blizzard to implement and fix, and resolve this issue, as it’s been ongoing for well over a year… Again, my theory is, this quest is somehow tied to the achievement “Ready for War” and both Zuldazzar Foothold & Nazmir Foothold progression steps need to be completed before this quest is functional. Why is that? Well, I’m not sure, I’m not a developer, but thats my observation.

Make Some Noise

Craft 6 Drums of Primal Might.

Description

We have everything we need to craft the drum, except Elune's blessing.

The drum is but a vessel, like a cup. We need her to imbue the drum with power, filling the cup so that we may drink.

With Tyrande donning the mantle of the Night Warrior, much of Elune's power is taxed. Asking for another favor is not insignificant, but I must try.

While I'm doing that, I need you to craft the drum. Try to keep it small. The larger the vessel, the more power it can hold, but the harder it becomes to move.
