You unlock this quest once you hit honored with the rustbolt resistance.
You can only drain power from enemies with a energy leak debuff.
If someone else reanimates the enemy it may not count.

This is a fairly easy quest. Takes two to four minutes, depending on your chain pulling.

The NRG-100 works two ways:
1) When you kill a quest NPC it will autocast the charge spell. This works with up to two enemies pulled at a time.
2) If you chain pull, like I did, 5-6 mobs, it will cast once and then you have to highlight the corpse with your mouse and use the item.

You will see a little energy bar 0/100 on your screen. Each enemy is worth 50 energy, 100 makes 1 full charge.

So, barnie-style math is, kill 12 enemies and drain them.

Very easy, you get the quest when you hit honored with Rustbolt Resistance.

Kill any mob in the highlighted area that is sparking electricity. No need to find a quest mob or even look at the debuffs on them. As a warlock, I ran in, dotted every thing in the area and was done super quick.

Be sure to pick up the NRG-100 right next to the quest giver.

It took me a little while to figure out why my NRG-100 kept disappearing. It turns out that if you pick up Junkbrat's Broiler (the flamethrower that you get from the Rustbolt Armory), it will make you drop the NRG-100 and you will have to go pick it up again next to the questgiver.

Here's a situational glitch I found related to accidentally doing the quest while in a raid group-

If you happen to be in a raid group when you start this quest and you begin collecting charges, you'll probably realize you aren't getting any quest progress. This is normal, of course, you can't do quests in a raid group. However, when you reach what would have been 6/6 progress (likely 5/6 to you if you realized after the first charge you aren't getting any quest progress) it will continuously overcharge you, not allowing you to gain anymore charges to complete the quest. If you came here because of this, just abandon and take the quest again, it isn't some bad rng type of thing (which is what I thought it was at first.)

I was pulling in big groups thinking that it would go faster, as stated above you need to then USE the item on each corpse. It is easier to just kill one by one if you are a high single target dps as well as AoE.. just pull another as one is almost dead and chain pull :) goes fast!

3. kill Malfunctioning Scrapbot, Malfunctioning Scraphound or Malfunctioning Scrap Pup and use your NRG-100
