Once you've planted all the explosives return to the quest-giver and you will have the option to detonate.

When you approach the harpoons, the place to click to set the explosives may be hard to see. They're on the curved legs of the harpoons, one on each side.

In order to begin this questline, you must first:

Have the Battle for Azeroth expansion
Complete the Secrets in the Sands questline.
~~Reach exalted reputation with the Voldunai~~ (No Longer Required as of 9.0.1)

This quest is part of a chain of quests that unlock the Vulpera allied race for the Horde. The questline consists of 25 different quests but doesn't take a significant amount of time to complete (around 1 hour with BFA flying). Upon completion, you will unlock the Vulpera allied race, receive the Caravan Hyena mount, the Nomi's Vintage toy, as well as earn the achievement, Allied Races: Vulpera (Hidden Character Achievement). Although it consists of 25 quests, many of the quests can be accepted/completed at the same time.

You can find the harpoons along the coastline. Those who use waypoints, can use these coords.

If, like me, you came here to find out how to detonate the explosives, go back to the quest giver and then a special action button will appear.

If you are a little slow like me on this quest, the explosives are placed on the feet, basically, of each harpoon by the coast. Once I had all eight placed the button to detonate button appeared, I did not have to go back to the quest giver to detonate them.

The first time I tried I was not seeing the spots to place the explosives on each harpoon but I dropped the quest and the second time I could see them.

if you are having issues like me coming in just before the dragonflight content....... the issue with DETONATE was the action button wasnt available so have to go into the menu and select edit mode, then tick the box next to extra abilities and then drag that out where you can see it. once i did that i was done. took me 30mins to figure that out!

Description

The area surrounding Tidecaller Nezara is heavily guarded, so I'll need you to create a distraction. Take these explosives. Plant them on the naga's harpoon launchers. Once they've been detonated, the blast should be more than enough to send the guards running!
