After turning this quest in and walking out you will see Zalazane hanging from his hands above the exit.

You can start this quest inside the Atal'Dazar dungeon after you complete Atal'Dazar: Ashes of a Warchief there.
After the dungeon you need to go to the Necropolis area in Nazmir and speek with Bwonsamdi

We learn 2 things from the first part of the achievement.
1. Zalazane says Vol'jin cannot be this powerful unless he is a ... then he dies. This probably means Vol'jin has become a loa.
2. Bwonsamdi has an unknown boss which is very surprising since... who is the loa of death gonna answer to?

Here's some interesting speculation based on a few quests I did on an alt after finishing this one on my main.

Bwonsamdi mentions the he serves a boss, and they are not gonna be happy about him failing his duty as a loa. Many think this boss might be an old god or a Titan but I have another theory, there's a quest chain I overlooked about on the horde side where you are sent to retrieve an item known as the Eye of Xibala. A very powerful and ancient arcane artifact, now this seems like nothing major just a simple oh look random relic mission, But when you know who Xibala is this made me start thinking she may be Bwomsndi's boss.

Why simply put Xibala is not a place on your map, Xibala is that giant skeleton in that area, and She is the mother of Rezan the former loa of kings and holy might! Now you're probably wondering why I think she is the boss of Bwonsamdi, well if you're the mother of Loa it goes with in reason to think you'd be insanely powerful that would easily give you clout over the other Loa especially one that is the god of death if you are no longer in the corporeal realm, but there's also a line from an npc we kill out there called Dark Chronicler who upon death says "I go to Xibala" and I don't think he's talking about the area we are in but the character Xibala herself, Dark Chonicler is also one of the mobs the game refers to as a Zandalari litch an undead, a spirit Bwonsamdi has no dominion over but Xibala his boss just might.

but this is just a theory.

Ok, I turned in the quest to Bwonsandi, He does his shpiel upto "oh, dis be bad." Then nothing. I still have the urn. AM I missing something?

I still have the urn after completing the quest. Maybe we just want to keep the urn for ourselves and give Bwonsamdi a fake. ha

I believe that since the spirit isn't in the urn anymore, it's useless for Bwonsamdi, and that's why we now had the item, to be spread in our bags, instead of the sea... xD

Wondering what we should do with Vol'jin's Urn now, maybe take it to some creeppy places to see what happens. Any WoW being strong enough to deal with spirits, apart from Bwonsamdi? Or the dead? The Lich King perhaps? Or the inverse, maybe if we take it to Alextrasza the Life-Binder, since Eonar, her creator is gone for now? Loa's are much like the wild gods, Goldrinn, or Pandaria 'gods' like Xuen, or Yulon...

Has anyone taken the urn inside Uldir, Ulduar, Uldaman?

Too many questions there.

Another screwy questline in this expansion. They should at least give some kind of indication this part of it is over.

I bet a big percentage of the ppl who've done this quest came on here trying to figure out now wtf?

If you're qualified for the next quest you'll see it on your map with absolutely no other indication that you have it (The quest is The Lost Spirit). It'll be on your Zuldazar zone map.

Not sure why all of a sudden Blizzard has such a hard time creating a quest chain...

8.0 Vol'jin Quest Chain

You pick up the first quest from Rokhan in The Great Seal. You will only see this quest pop up once you've completed the Zandalar Forever! achievement. This quest chain starts "The Fallen Chieftain" portion of the Spirits Be With You achievement. Note: You will not be able to start this chain if you are on any part of the Zandalari Troll Allied Race quest chain.

The next part of the chain you pick up from Bwonsamdi in the Necropolis in Nazmir. You must have the prior quest chain completed. This quest chain starts the "Justice For The Fallen" portion of the Spirits Be With You achievement.

11. The True Leader of Zandalar

8.1 Vol'jin Quest Chain

This quest chain requires you to have the 8.0 and 8.1 War Campaign completed (you can check your progress on the War Campaign by opening up your quest log and checking the top right hand corner for any leftover quests you haven't completed). Exalted with the Zandalari Empire as well as have the prior Vol'jin achievement Spirits Be With You.

After you finish this quest, considering you've met all other criteria, the quest to start the second part of the Spirits Be With You achievement will show up on your map in the southern part of The Zocalo in Dazar'Alor. The quest is called The Lost Spirit and is given by Bwonsamdi.

Directions:

Take a flight path to The Sliver and go left up the stairs. When you reach a level with a room in front of you, turn left up the stairs again until you reach an open area...run straight to the stairs by the wagon (Yup! Stairs again!). You'll reach another open area with Bloodraged Pterrodax's. Take an immediate right here at the top of the stairs. Bwonsamdi be a waitin for ya with the quest, mon.
