The Mote of Pure Water that you need to collect for this world quest are white spheres you interact with. I only found them at the start of the dungeon, and they were located:

Behind the water elemental in the pool at the bottom of the long set of stairs after you exit the first room of the dungeon.
From that elemental pool, go down the small set of stairs and there is another across the bridge on the left side.
Go back across the bridge and towards the first boss. The last one was next to two NPCs people often skip (directly opposite the first boss).

The spawns may be randomised, but it's the first time I've done it and the only place I saw them.

HI All

This Dungeon WQ is in Shrine of the Storm You can use LFG on normal is working to. You need to do:

- Gathering 3 Mote of Pure Water. They look like orbs you need to press on them. You can find them at beginning of Dungeon. Protected by mobs.
- Kill Vol'zith the Whisperer. Is a Last boss on this Dungeon.

Cleared it on mythic today. Didn't realize there was a quest. Went back and couldn't find the motes.
*Maybe can't be done on mythic?
*Maybe de-spawn with the dungeon mobs?

Ran this several times today. once on heroic, and once on mythic. I didn't get credit for the second part of this quest either time.

Didn't get a credit for killing last boss, and that's what GM answered me:

I looked into this for you and we have received some more reports about this quest not completing.
More than likely it is because the cutscene at the end is being skipped.

If you check out Shrine of the Storm: Behold, Pure Water there's some more information on the quest as well and how you can complete it.
If the world quest expired now it sadly can't be completed, but try and check if DBM is skipping cutscenes for you, this can cause problems.

So you can try to turn off skipping cutscenes in DBM before engaging last boss:
Go to DBM options (type /dbm) > "Options" tab > "Blizzard disables & Hide" > "Hide in-game cinematics" > select "Disable"

I missed a mote somehow when going through this as a group, when i went back into the dungeon myself to grab it, nothing was there in any of the 3 places. looks like they possibly disappeared after final boss kill. sad as i'm missing out on a big upgrade for my gear but oh well...

I was able to go back through and pick up all the ords on Normal mode after the last boss was downed.
