The droprate is horrible. Just keep killing oozes and you'll eventually get all the tar. It took me around 30 kills to get all 6.

The oozes seems to have just as much tar on them as the Zebras in the Barrens have hooves.

The pools of tar that the Tar Oozes wander around in give you a buff called Tar Pit. It should be a debuff, because the tooltip says, "Increase Fire damage taken by 25%". The good thing is, the buff/debuff falls off quickly after you leave the pool of tar and take a few steps on clean ground.

I'm beginning to wonder if there really is such a thing as RNG in this game. I mean, crap, we need six of theseSticky Tar. First FIVE Tar Ooze I killed yielded me five Sticky Tars. Then twenty kills later I get the sixth. I think the RNG is gated behind some program that says, "On number 5 drop, goto subroutine waitforit. Do until kills equal butt load. Return to main program. (Or however it's written in their computer code). I mean, seriously, five out of five and the next drop takes 20 kills to get? That's some bad mojo right there. Ya know mon.

Description

I'm not going to lie... I did wicked things in my youth and I've been living with de shame ever since. But Zaluto is going to die without my healing, and we're all going to die if dat dino isn't taken care of. Dere is a lot of tar in dis area. I need it to cure Zaluto of whatever is infecting him here. Get me dat tar, and I'll be able to save Zaluto from dis fate.
