How are you supposed to escort the king out? I am 113 and 120 mobs spawn and just destroy me.

By the time you read this, your gear may be red. Go repair it because you will need the hitpoints before you start. At this point you are totally boxed in by level 120s with 51K hitpoints. These 120s will hit you for 10-18% of your health with each strike. You have to pass 3 of them to complete the quest, and their strikes will slow you.
What starts the engagement is talking to the King. At this point TRex Rezan will start moving towards you. You will have to pop defensives and snare releases to get to the end goal and run past it until you lose aggro from the mobs. and then come back and turn it in. You may even want to burn a tome to change your talents for movement and defensives. Do not combat engage them..they will kill you.
I followed the above steps changing my talents to defensives as a 114 shaman, using earthbind and capacitator totem, and it was ezpz. Hex did not work on the mobs.

For the ones struggling with this quest: i'm not sure that the level 120 mob are a bug.
I completed it doing this:

Speak with the king.
He starts to run, I mount up.
I started following him, but then i stopped before the skeletons and waited a few seconds.
Then you can aggro and run past them but you have to stop until the raptor loa spawn! (otherwise you will be killed by the deathwall)
When the raptor spawn, follow him! If you are ahead of him you will die for the deathwall.

Don't worry about the skeletons, the route is veeery short and when you finish they just stop following you.
If they daze you, just pop all the defensive cds and movement speed boosts or simply try again.

When you die on this quest, just abadon it, then you spawn near the gate, and have not to walk endless from the graveyard.
You can walk through the wooden gate.

That's how I finally completed this wonderful (not) quest:
1. Talked to the King.
2. Waited a bit while he spoke his line "dafaq is dis mon... dis is not Rezan, mon..."
3. Mounted up (or rather shifted into travel form as a drood)
4. Ran straight to the Gonk, not stopping, not waiting for king, not fighting anything.
I got lucky that mobs didn't dismount/confuse me.

Another problem w/ this quest is that you can be easily insta-gibbed by not your Gonk's Deathwall aura, but by someone else's Gonk's aura, so watch out if another poor soul tries to complete this.

Take quest from Rezan and he starts to move into the Atal'Dazor
Talk to the king
Escape the Atal'Dazor
Just follow the king and run to the right side.
You will see stairs up. (not the same stairs you came from)

Initially mobs were bugged and hit kinda hard, can kill you in 3-4 shots.
Don't try to fight them if that is still the case. Just run through

I think this quest is really bugged i am trying to complete for like 15 min now . the only think i can achieve is to die by Deathwall every single time. Any suggestions on how to complete it?

I completed this quest today on my 3rd toon and it was the easiest completion so far. No deaths. Basically as per above, speak to the King, and then go up stairs engage the skeletons, pause and allow a dinosaur to run across you. Then continue to Gonk.

So I think i figured out this quest (or it was fixed?) Basically after you talk with him turn back to exit but dont go forward those 120lvl mobs just turn left where you can find mobs on your lvl and there is your way to go. There are 2 packs of them and after them you can turn quest there to Rastakhan.

My working theory is so long as Zombie Rezan exists in any other player's phase, you can be killed by him. I was able to replicate completing this quest 3 times but only when no other people were in the area. Running into Zombie Rezan confirmed that he's the one who does "Deathwall".
If you make it up to Gonk and King Rastakhan isn't there, run up the stairs away a bit and come back. He -should- phase back in when you come back.

Follow Rezan into Atal'Dazar until the way is being blocked.
There the cinematic starts which explain what happened in Atal'Dazar.
After the cinematic you have to take northern stairs to get Rashtakan to safety.

If you have left the area without speaking to the king, you can return to the instance entrance but before going in you will find a small dirt path that leads back up to where the king is.

Do not go back into the instance.

If you're a monk like me, don't go to the top of the golden pyramid and think "oh I can just roll in!" I flew over the wall of spears, and couldn't talk to Rastakan to finish the quest. I ended up hearthing out.

Just a quick side note: After the quest is complete you can get out of there by continuing up the stairs to the platform. There is a dirt road (the same one to get back in) that will let you continue on. Took me a while to find it.

if you're a ranged class you can actually safely attack zombie Rezan. the only 'attack' he does is Deathwall (which has no effect on pets)
he'll go and stand to the side near Gonk

he drops no loot and instantly respawns back where Zul killed him though, so it's pretty pointless

If you're like me and you completed this quest but were so busy running from mobs up the stairs you forgot to go back and talk to King Rastakhan to get the credit then this post is for you. I managed to overlook this and then when I realized I hadn't gotten credit I tried to find King Rastakhan for the turn in but there was no ? on the map for turn in... It had been a while since completing and I had spaced where in Zuldazar I had done this quest... duh. It was Atal'Dazar. Just go back to the fp for Atal'Dazar, go up the hill and just before entering the instance there is a path to the right. Take it up and around. Once you cross the threshold of Atal'Dazar you will see the turn in ? just down the stairs.

If you are frustrated and confused by this quest, here is what you must do: after speaking with King Rastakhan and getting him to follow you, the stairwell that you must go up in order to exit is NOT the stairwell from which you came. Rather, it is a second stairwell located farther to the north of the stairwell from which you came. I have included a screenshot here depicting the stairwell that you came from and the one that you need to get to, I hope that this clarifies things a bit. You do not need to stop and fight any of the mobs that will aggro and chase you, just run to the stairs depicted in the screenshot while the king is following you.

I got to Gonk and there was no gold Qmark. Flew away, came back, nada, did it again and it was there. Turned in and done.

Dont bother trying to kill Rezan. If you get near him some Blizzard mechanic kills you for 13 Million Hps. Maybe you can survive this with a Shadowland char? :D

Ok, as others have stated, do NOT go back the way you came, but go left, run to Gonk and leave using another stairs.

If you already decided to go back the way you came, then Rastakan will not be at the meeting point. You can safely abandon the quest though, it will reset the entire encounter after which (using the intended escape route) you can finish the quest.

The actual dungeon version may be tameable, but THIS version of Rezan is NOT tameable. "Creature is already controlled." :P

I killed the zombie Rezan at 60 but he don't drop anything of course. He'll still 1shot you if you get close though if you're a tank with 70k hp you might survive a hit.

This quest indicates that the only quest reward is '60 silver'.

At level 48 I was given 66 gold, 38 silver, 40 copper and a gear choice of the Jambani Jerkin or the Jambini Mask.

Just abandon quest in case you flew at point instead of waiting for Rastakhan.

As soon as you abandon quest it will teleport you instantly at start where you took quest in first place.

As of writing this due to bad scaling Razan deals over 400,000 damage if they hit you, and is level one for some reason. Video of it happening
