Relatively easy fight.

2 pet Strat (may be able to get in a leveling pet somewhere. Ill try it out tomorrow)
I have tried this once so outcome may be different until i get it down a few times.

Breed probably doesnt matter.

Nexus Whelpling (1,2,2)
Feline Familiar (1,1,2)
Anything (Another heavy magic user if you want to be safe)

1st Flyer:
Round 1: Arcane Surge
Round 2-4: Mana Storm; First flyer will die on Round 3 and second flyer will enter and get hit.

2nd Flyer:
Round 1: Mana Storm finishes.
Round 2+: Tail Sweep til Flyer is dead.

3rd Flyer:
Round 1: If Nexus is still alive Tail Sweep until Nexus dies.
Round 2: Bring in Familiar; Prowl. Flyer should use Lift-Off.
Round 3+: Onyx Bite til Flyer dies.

Crysa is a Flying Pet Tamer added in 7.1. She is located on the bluff just northwest of Farwatch Post in the Northern Barrens (/way Northern Barrens 63.5 35.9). As Crysa is noted as a tamer of Flyers specifically, there may be more family-specific daily tamer quests yet to be found.

She offers a daily account-wide quest Crysa's Flyers, which rewards Torn Sack of Pet Supplies. The sack has a chance to drop an Albino Buzzard.

Her team consists of Cherry, Swoop, and Buzz.

General notes: Dragonkin take less damage from Flying, and Magic is strong against Flying. There are many Dragonkin with Magic abilities that should be useful here.

Leveling pets: (Edited) Swoop and Buzz each have a "safe" round where you can swap in a low-level pet. However, Swoop also has Cyclone which can deal back-row damage, and neither uses that "safe" round in a predictable pattern that I've seen.

So far my best shot for a leveling setup has been a Nexus Whelping ?-2-2 and an Anubisath Idol 1-1-1. I also recommend an addon like PetTracker which will display the cooldown on enemy skills. With a little luck, even a level 1 carry pet can sneak through this fight.

First, Arcane Storm and Mana Surge. If the Whelpling dies before Mana Surge completes, consider restarting.

Typically you'll now have a low-health Swoop facing your low-health Whelpling. If Swoop has not already cast Cyclone, try to cast Arcane Storm again. Your Whelpling may or may not survive the attempt; it's okay either way.

If Cyclone has been cast and your carry pet is low-level, you should swap to your Anubisath Idol and get Sandstorm up as soon as you can. If Swoop is still alive at that point, use Crush to finish him.

If the Whelpling managed to finish off Cherry and Swoop in a grand explosion of crits, and Swoop never got a Cyclone off, you hit the RNG lottery. Gratz!

Buzz is your carry pet's friend. Look for a round in which Reckless Strike and Lift-Off are both on c/d, swap in, then swap out. If your Whelpling lived this long, feel free to use it till it dies. If you're using your Anubisath Idol, use Deflection when Buzz uses Lift-Off, and otherwise Crush.

Quickest way to her for Alliance:

Head to the Shrine and take the portal to Ratchet. It's out on the Terrace to the left of Sara, the Battle Pet Trainer. Talk to Gleep, pay him 10 gold, step into his teleporter.

She's up on the hill above Farwatch Post (due north of Ratchet) in a hut at 63,35.

Won with Brightpaw (1,1,1), Proto-Drake Whelp (lvl 19) (1,1,1) , Yu'la, Broodling of Yu'lon (1,1,2)

Figured I'll just test it. :)
Brightpaw with Arcane Storm and Arcane Blast -- he will die on second flier
Brought in Proto-Drake Whelp and used Flame Thrower, Breath and Proto-Strike. Swapped to Yu'la and hit with Emerald Presence first, then breath until third flier popped, life exchange and breath until end. Refresh Emerald Presence if needed.

Exp at pet level 19 with safari hat was 2541.

I soloed her team with an Emerald Proto-Whelp (Lvl 25 Uncommon), using Emerald Bite, Ancient Blessing, and Emerald Dream.

So I'm trying to figure out the prerequisite for this tamer because she isn't offering me the quest on my second account.

Edit: So a GM finally contacted me and said this is the quest I have to complete in order to access this pet tamer's daily: Battle Pet Tamers: Eastern Kingdoms

I just completed the quest and now the daily quest is available. It works. I did not do the follow-up quest "Grand Master Lydia Accoste"

The exp she gives to a leveling pet is only a little more than half of what you get from the trainers in WoD or Pandera, but still worth doing if you are trying to get the Albino Buzzard anyway. Here is the 2 pet strategy I use:

Nether Faerie Dragon (2,2,1)
Darkmoon Zeppelin (1,2,2)
Carry pet (level 8 or higher)

Nether Faerie Starts with moonfire, followed by arcane blast until first enemy pet is dead.

Second enemy pet comes in, use life exchange followed by arcane blast until your Nether Faerie Dragon is dead.

Bring in Zeppelin, use missile until the 2nd enemy pet is dead. Then use decoy followed by missile until the 3rd enemy pet is less than 620hp then use explode (pass if the 3rd enemy pet is either going to heal or fly-up on the next round, then use missile again until less than 620hp and explode).

I've experimented with a lot of other combinations and this is the most consistent team I've found given the large amount of RNG in this fight. It is an interesting fight because the enemy pets don't seem to follow a specific priority order for their casts, so occasionally with crits this strategy can fail, but most of the time it works great.

This is my team for low level pets for this fight. For level 1 magic/mech pet the chance is ~75-80%. For level 1 other families ~ 25-30%. Level 5-6 pets should be ok.

I just use 3 Lanterns..... FLASH > LIGHT > BEAM to fill.. Easy Peasy.

I don't know how many times I've killed her, surely it's well into the 50s, still no pet. :(

I have been doing this battle every day for at least a month, and finally got the Albino Buzzard.

But reporting this news is not my main purpose in posting.

Crysa is a good fight for leveling pets that are already at least level 10. The carry pets need enough health to survive the Cyclone used by Crysa's second pet. I use Emerald Proto-Whelp with spells Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence, and Emerald Dream.

Round 1: Emerald Presence
Round 2: Emerald Bite

Renew Emerald Presence as necessary, and use Emerald Dream whenever the health falls below 500 (but renew Emerald Presence first).

Kill Crysa's first and second pet. On the third pet, swap in the two carry pets, and then bring back the Emerald Proto-Whelp to finish off the last pet.

Sometimes, the Cyclone critically hits a carry pet. If your carry pet is still alive, regardless of how low its health is, swap it in immediately when Buzz comes out. Then Buzz does Lift-Off. Bring back the Emerald Proto-Whelp to absorb the damage, then swap in the other carry pet.

The important point is to make sure the Emerald Proto-Whelp always has enough health so a critical hit will not kill it.

If you are farming for the Albino Buzzard, you might as well get some pet leveling for your time.

I do this with a level pet on a daily basis.
Start with Chrominius and spam Arcane Explosion until he dies. Normally Crysa will have all 3 pets alive with the main one being near dead and the others just above half health.

Swap in your leveling pet, and then immediately over to Celestial Dragon.

Make use of the Dragonkin racial to blow up Crysa's remaining pets with Flamethrower and Moonfire. If you ever feel pressured go ahead and throw on an Ancient Blessing.

2x Nexus Whelplings, keep storm up and just surge, swap in and out levelling pet upon the death of your first nexus. Carry pet should be around level 15 to cope with enemy cyclones.

You can talk to the arcane elemental in the pet shop in "new" Dalaran to get teleported to the Wailing Caverns pet battle dungeon. IF you have completed it once. It will also teleport you to the Deadmines Pet Battle dungeon as well. Once you've ported to the Wailing Caverns, you can then fly over to Crysa. Works for both Horde and Alliance players.

Its a no brainier, using 2 dragonkins like chrom's with spam arcane explosion did the trick, even managed to sneak up a lvl 1 pet for lvling purposses

I haven't seen this mentioned before, but her pets seem to scale down to your highest level pet in your party. I just completed this battle with a full party of lvl 1 pets (her birds were lvl 1 too)

If you want to have a level 1 pet during this fight and it live through Swoop's Cyclone, this is my line up:

Slot 1: Sun Darter Hatchling (2/2/1)
Slot 2: Sprite Darter Hatchling (1/2/1)
Carry pet

- Round 1 start with your Sprite Darter Hatchling and cast Moonfire.
- Round 2 bring in your Sun Darter Hatchling. Hit Cherry with Blinkstrike and keep yourself healed with Ancient Blessing. Do not use Consume Magic yet.
- Once Cherry is dead, do the same thing with Swoop but immediately use Consume Magic as soon as he cast Cyclone. Your level 1 pet should be able to live through one hit of Cyclone unless they're an Aquatic pet. An unlucky crit might take it out too. I'm not sure because I haven't experience either situation (level 1 aquatic or a Cyclone crit.) Just keep in mind that Cyclone isn't a 100% chance to hit. You can do this strat with an aquatic pet and just keep your fingers crossed that Cyclone misses. If it doesn't, just start over.
- Once Swoop is dead, let your Sun Darter Hatchling die so you can safely bring in your level 1 carry. You could chance bringing it in on Buzz and hope he heals or Lifts Off but if you gamble wrong, you'll have to restart the fight. Finish Buzz off with your Sprite Darter Hatchling.

p.s. Please do not downvote me because this isn't the best strat because it's not supposed to be. This is only for people that want to use a low level carry pet. If your carry pet has enough hps to live through Swoop, just use one of the older/high upvoted strats.
