Unless you brought a party with you you better clera out the path a little before starting the escort.

If there is a big elite patrol you can hide in the baskets, the elf girl will wait for you.

Or you can just aoe everything if you have follower with you. But hiding is probably safer.

In the quest it says you are escorting Korine but if you look at the buff, it actually says Corine and not Korine
This is also not the first quest to do the same, blizzard should really pay more attention to them :D

So I was just doing this quest.. in the middle of escorting the kid she vanished/phased out and never reappeared... I looked around for like 10 minutes and couldn't find her again. I abandoned the quest, and now she's no longer back in the room you start the quest from. Wtf?

I think this is the most annoying escort mission in the game. On my first attempt I got decloaked and zerg rushed in the first market place. The second attempt I got zerg rushed right outside the starting area.

This mission sucks. Bring friends. If you have guildies, ask them to help, or maybe you'll have luck in the group finder.

Tried a few times, couldn't get it (swarmed with guards). Second time I tried this morning and there were already several folks who had cleared out all the enemies from start to finish. So I took the quest, killed the one guard that appears, killed the two more that appeared, then it was done.

Like I said, bring friends. It's 'cheating', but it'll make this quest a lot less annoying.

I did it by "not escorting her"

When it starts she will aggro a guard half way across the first bridge. This will unmask you and the guard will attack you regardless of where you are. So I crossed the water to the right of the bridge as she started to cross and headed to the corner of the building where there was a safe spot. The guard attacked me there and I was able to kill him easily with no adds.

For the next part I'd advance enough...staying away from her...to get her to move. About two thirds of the way she will aggro two guards. I managed to get into a nook to the left where I fought them and one other that I aggroed on the way to the nook.

After that it was just a matter of prodding her forward until she "found" her way.

When she screams just run far away. After about 10 seconds you can come back. No need to fight anything

**Use the baskets**

I soloed this without fighting as a Mage ilvl 795.

Scout out the area in advance and find the baskets while in disguise - over the bridge, through the arch, there is a basket on your left, across the courtyard there is another basket, just to the left of the second bridge.

Start the quest, go outside, mount up and go ahead of her across the bridge; when she gets to the top of the bridge, aggro starts; go through the arch, turn left and jump in the basket. You can then re-apply the disguise, heal and then appear out of the basket, mount up and go back to her, she will start moving again. She will moan if you are not keeping up with her.

Go through the crowd of mobs in disguise, she will cause aggro again; just before the next bridge; be ready and jump into the basket just left of the bridge. Re-apply the disguise and heal, emerge from the basket again. Follow her onto the bridge and she will complete when at the top of the bridge.

Job done and no mates needed!

If you lose Korine on the way, she's back at the start. No need to abandon quest etc.

Avoid guards as per usual, only fight when attacked.

Also can just go stealth if you're a kitty/rogue.

Super easy hunter method: When she aggros the mobs, pull the mobs a little bit to an opening, toss up a feign death, re- apply your masquerade. I was able to pop it on cooldown all three times she pulls mobs and get through the quest no problems

As a mage I simply followed until the first attack, went invisible and ran to a clear area , reapplied disguise and went back to her. waited, and she will wait for invisible to CD. followed her until the next attack, went invisible and jumped in the water. reapplied disguise and picked her up again. followed across the bridge and quest was done.

Should you meet an unfortunate end and need to find Korine again, her building is at the top of the zone indicated on the map.

You spawn at the opposite end of that zone so you have to run back through it to get back to her.

If you dont follow her like me ( i was reading something and the kid nowhere i didnt even realise it was an escort) and you cannot see her anywhere just logout and login again and she will appear at the start.

First attempt.
She agro'd a single, walked awhile, picked up a duo crossing the bridge.
Another duo later.
That was it.
No need to hide, nothing like that.

This quest requires reputation. Because I can't seem to start the quest even with over 10K reputation in Revered with Nightfallen.

Easy enough. Just use the Masquerade spell that you get from Masquerade. When one of the guards appear to stop you. Rush up to them and attack him. Just make sure you're out of range from all the other guards before attacking. Otherwise you'll be fighting more. They spawn on bridges away from hostile mobs. So being out of range from other guards is possible She starts to run scared. Just reapply the Masquerade before she gets too far. You'll then be stopped by two guards. Do the same thing making sure you're right on them, so not to attract more guards. After the second wave you should be good as long as you apply the Masquerade. A little further down the road. She comes to a stop,recognizes the area, then runs to her mother. I did this at level 110. So my aggro range wasn't very big.

If you can fly this quest is a piece of cake. No fighting, No hiding. Use Masquerade, mount up, follow the child and you will not engage any of the mobs. They will spawn, but they will not aggro and the child will continue the quest until finished. If you need to avoid detection, simple slip by the detector NPC staying close as you can to the child.
