Not only are these green upgrade tokens, they're the 615 armour/weapon pieces instead of the +3 tokens, rendering them completely useless unless you've only just started gearing your followers.

I must be extremely unlucky, just got 18g and some silver, a war ravaged armor set and the standard apexis crystals from the cache. Huge waste of 20 minutes to solo this as a warrior.

This quest is started by Ring of Blood Invitation.

Each of the Bloody Stack of Invitations contains 3 Ring of Blood Invitation. The Ring of Blood Invitations are BoE and can be sold or traded on the Auction House.

The quest (The World Famous Ring of Blood!) involves killing 5 opponents in the Ring of Blood, and rewards Mogor's Cache, containing gold, Apexis Crystals, and follower upgrade tokens/follower armor sets.

Where do you get a Bloody Stack of Invitations?

Bloody Stack of Invitations has a chance to drop from the mini-bosses that are the target of a daily Garrison Town Hall quest (known as a Bounty quest). This includes Tremor, Undertow, etc. as per the chart below. When it drops, only a single Bloody Stack of Invitations drops per group (rather than for every group member). However, the 3 Ring of Blood Invitation inside can be distributed by the person receiving the stack.

Below is a list of the garrison Bounty quests. These are obtained from visitors to your garrison - each day you have a 1 in 5 chance of getting a Bounty quest NPC. Other possibilities for visitors include Harrison Jones, a trade vendor, a dungeon quest NPC, or a raid quest NPC. The bounty quest NPC is Shadow Hunter Ty'jin (Horde) or Renzik "The Shiv" (Alliance).

You can visit the garrison of friends who have the bounty quest NPC to get the quests (or use the group finder if people have been kind enough to list groups with this NPC).

dear god blizzard, i have 200 of these damn tokens sitting in my bank. please bring back the origional missions awarded from killing the bounties because these are completely useless!

In case anyone was wondering, this quest is not repeatable.

After you beat the champion Mogor, there is a chest that appears behind the goblin, that offers further rewards, I received 100 Apexis Crystal, one Blackrock Weaponry, and 37G 44S 80C. Just a heads up for people that think the listed rewards are all there is.

If you drop the quest you will lose the invitation item that starts the quest.
