When ogres talk about a family tree, it's actually a family TREE.
Solves the mystery of from where they come, as there are no females. They come from the Family Tree.

I accepted this quest on Thursday from Lunk in my Inn. I completed the quest on Friday but when I returned to my Inn, Lunk was nowhere to be found. The quest return symbol was centered on the fountain in my Garrison. Perhaps bugged on the second day. A reload UI did not fix it. Will report back later if Lunk ever shows up for me to claim the reward.

When you accept this quest, and enter the dungeon Bloodmaul Slag Mines, open your map. You will see the quest icon smack-dab in the middle of the map. It is in the small room that leads to the second boss, Slave Watcher Crushto.

The "Family Tree" is literally a crude club, found under a small wooden structure. Interact with it.

When you go to build your garrison inn, (Lunarfall Inn) the information text says something to the effect of "Each day a visitor (in this case Lunk) offering a dungeon quest with generous rewards will visit your inn." For those that completed the quest, but did not turn it in to Lunk on the same day, ~~my guess would be that~~ if you hold onto this quest, Lunk will reappear at your inn sometime in the future, and you'll be able to turn it in then.

All seem to contain the same gear, just different version (item levels) appropriate to the quest and dungeon. This one contains level 530 versions.

If you don't need such gear, the only reason to do these Lunarfall Inn / Frostwall Tavern Level 1 dailies would be the Apexis Crystal, Garrison Resources, Gold, or Experience. It doesn't strike me as worth the time when leveling up, unless your gear is horrid, or you like to level in dungeons.

Stupid noob question, but, How do you get to the dungeon/mine? It's in like a 95+ area and my toon is still around 93.

After building the Inn on an alt, I went inside and accepted the daily from Lunk, queued up, and finished it off. I was in the middle of questing when the queue popped, so I worked on that until my Accelerated Learning potion expired and I had to go back and buy more. When I tried to turn in Lunk's quest, he was nowhere to be found. Leaving and re-entering the garrison didn't work, going to someone else's garrison didn't work, logging out and back in didn't work -- he's completely MIA. I'll just have to wait and hope he shows up eventually. Stupid ogre.

I have been having the issue for a while on this quest and others where the quest turn in's just wander off. Sometimes they come back if I log out or leave my garrison but it's hit and miss. Lunk and Budd were both MiA for several hours today. Then I got an idea... Swapped my Inn and my Trader buildings... both of them instantly spawned =D probably won't work every time, but worth a try if you have the issue.

Upgraded to Inn level 2 and Lunk appeared inside, after having been MIA for days. Or, well, not MIA per ce, just apparently hiding out in the fountain.

I was unable to complete the quest. Lunk had vanished and the golden question mark was nowhere to be found, though it was located on the mini-map near the garrison fountain. If I come up with a solution I will update.
