New Recruit (Knewbie McGreen): Found @ (62,41) near the portal to Stormwind.

Next quest - A Surly Dwarf.

If you hang out in the inn for a while, there's a discussion about the dangerous state of the archaeology efforts on the island taking place at the main dining table:

Stephen Hicklin says: So I hear that they're uncovering some interesting stuff in the mines. Harrison is staying pretty hush hush about it though.

Phillip Hillenbrand says: Why do you think that is?

Stephen Hicklin says: I spoke to one of the workers, and they think the place is haunted. They say folks are disappearing, and then there's the accidents.

Phillip Hillenbrand says: Accidents? What kind of accidents?

Stephen Hicklin says: Weird ones. Solid cave walls up and crumbling on a digger. Malfunctioning machinery chewing up its operator. They say it happpens more and more the further down you go.

Phillip Hillenbrand says: I don't like the sound of that. I think I'll just stay here at the inn.

Stephen Hicklin says: You get no argument from me, there.

Phillip Hillenbrand says: I don't know why Harrison Jones asked us to come out here and help with the excavation. I can't hunt for a single artifact without an ogre trying to cut me in half!

Stephen Hicklin says: If you think the ogres are bad, you should see the spirit ogres around the altar. Bad news, there.

Phillip Hillenbrand says: Spirit ogres? Geez, this island sure has some creative ways to kill a guy.

Enter the Town Hall, and click on Lieutenant Thorn at coords 46.9, 50.9 and accept the quest, Ashran Appearance.

1. Ashran Appearance - (Video) - Go to Dungar Longdrink at coords 47.7, 49.7, click on him, and select "Take me to Stormshield in Ashran."

You will then be flown to your faction's camp in Ashran. Go to coords 32.0, 50.2, and click on Private Tristan, turning in the quest Ashran Appearance.

Accept Host Howell, which is the next quest in this sequence.

2. Host Howell - (Video) - Travel south to Hero's Rest Inn (entrance @ coords 36.1, 71.8), and turn the quest in to Lieutenant Howell at coords 35.6, 75.8.

Accept the next quest, Inspiring Ashran from him.

3. Inspiring Ashran - (Video) - Travel up the small stairs on the right and speak with Jaesia Rosecheer (the Innkeeper).

Exit the Inn and travel the path in front of you, that loops around to the right. Enter the Town Hall (entrance @ coords 44.1, 71.3), and speak with Vindicator Nuurem (at coords 46.6, 76.5).

Exit the Town Hall, taking the path to the north, traveling to coords 62.8, 41.4 (which has the appearance of an Alliance Mage Tower), and speak with Knewbie McGreen.

Travel back to the Hero's Rest Inn (entrance @ coords 36.1, 71.8), and turn the quest in to Lieutenant Howell at coords 35.6, 75.8.

Accept the next quest in the chain, A Surly Dwarf.

4. A Surly Dwarf - (Video) - Exit the Inn, and travel north to the small barracks (entrance @ coords 47.5, 32.4).

Turn the quest in to Delvar Ironfist, and accept/turn-in the quest, Delvar Ironfist, to add him to your list of followers.

5. Fen Tao - (Video) - Exit the Barracks and travel south, to the Alliance Town Hall, in Ashran, and click on Fen Tao (at coords 45.4, 70.5), and select "Would you like to join our cause?" He will then be added to your list of followers.

We have new recruits coming through the portal daily. In fact our latest recruit, Knewbie McGreen just came through the portal today.
