Skaggit is outside of the hut that you start at to the right.

Skaggit says: You got it. One fully armed and operational army of motivated peons coming right up.

Lady Sena is to the left of the hut standing with another npc named Mister Pleeb.

Lady Sena says: Gazlowe thinks I am holding out on him? The nerve! Here, this is everything we have leftover.
Mister Pleeb says: But, my lady, what about our reserve in the pon-

The plans are further left on a base full of boxes and other supplies. The blueprints are on the first set of boxes with white tarp on them.

The outside huts are where you leave from to go watch the building cut scene. Until you do the first the other guys won't be there.

For some reason this quest (along with 3 or 4 others) shows up as an available quest on the map of Frostfire Ridge for the Alliance.

If you're having trouble finding it, the garrison cache is a clickable box to the right of Lady Sena and her assistant near the building where you control your missions.

Okay is it just me or does this not work anymore? I am on the lvl 100 PVE realm and when I talk to Skaggit he says what he does but then nothing happens. And I cannot find Senior Peon 2.

OBTW, if you don't LIKE coordinates, TFB!
They eliminate a lot of problems such as frame of reference. Look through these postings and
note how often folks use terms like "left of the door" etc. Problem is, "left" looking through the door into a building, out the door, or looking down some 1400 yard long canyon in which it is to the "left" - as long as you have entered the canyon from the NORTH. That's why cultures developed terms like left, up, north, AND dimensions, after realizng that the relative terms would only get you "part way there".

When presented with the phrase "looking down the canyon" most people treat this as meaning looking in a "horizontal" direction from one end of the canyon to the other end of the canyon... gets more complicated in the case of a "box" canyon rotflapmp. Almost no one interprets the phrase to mean looking in the same direction Newton's apple would travel (in that particular location, on that particular planet).

I do have one pet peeve... actually several, with the way SOME people express coordinates in these notes...

Following comments are for in-game use where the overall map coordinates run from 00.00 to 99.99 in both the X (east-west) and Y (north-south) directions. 0, 0 being the NW corner of the grid.

1) degree of precision
General Area XX, YY is fine e.g. 49, 16

Specific Location XX.X, YY.Y is appropriate e.g. 49.3, 16.4

Small Precise Spot XX.XX, YY.YY is necessary e.g. 49.32, 16.38

It is never required to use a greater degree of precision than XX.XX, YY.YY in-game as even a dwarf would "dwarf" the difference, not to mention those pesky gnomes.

2) accuracy of reported coordinates
If you are 50 yards away (in game) from a small precise spot, please don't simply look at your coord readout and use it verbatim in a posting. Either clearly state "near the coords given" or take the trouble to be more precise and accurate

3) rounding off coordinates
Rounding Off is only appropriate when final precision you use is fine enough to still be useable to reach the location.

I see a lot of times when coordinates listed as 51, 67 turn out to actually be 50.2, 68.7

If you are trying to find one particular (stationary) NPC at Halfhill Market, among all the NPCs at the market, it would be nice to actually be IN the market not at Sunsong Ranch or next to Ben of the Booming Voice.

4) leading zeroes
Leading zeroes can often be dispensed with in general, and definitely for in-game coordinates. Trailing zeroes can only safely be deleted when AFTER the decimal point. Internal zeroes can only be dispensed with in very special circumstances involving adjacent leading and/or adjacent trailing zeroes. Note that the adjective adjacent is used twice to avoid the ambiguity that could otherwise arise.

Did the exercise and found that this error translated to an error of

9 yards when in the Horde Level 1 Garrison

84 yards when out in the Frostfire Ridge Zone

Either way it reminds me of the story of the man who comes across another man on his hands and knees under a streetlight. Standing man asks bent over man what he is doing and gets response he is looking for his car keys. Wanting to assist, he inquires where abouts the man dropped the keys and is told they were dropped over near his car. Naturally curious, he then asks why the man is searching here... "Because the light is better!"

Homework Assignment (due Monday)
Go out into Draenor (you may choose any Draenor Zone)
Using coordinates with the same numerical differences, place a Pandaren Scarecrow at one location
and youself at the other location

Extra Credit: bring a picture of the Scarecrow to class which you have taken from your field coordinates.

Pick up The Home of the Frostwolves from Archmage Khadgar, after completing The Home Stretch.

1. The Home of the Frostwolves - (Video)
• After arriving in Frostfire Ridge, following the Tanaan Jungle (level 90) quests, turn in this quest to Farseer Drek'Thar at coords 40.8, 67.0.

2. A Song of Frost and Fire - (Video)
• Accept A Song of Frost and Fire from Farseer Drek'Thar.
• Follow Farseer Drek'Thar to coords 41.8, 69.6 and turn in the quest to Durotan.

3. Of Wolves and Warriors - (Video)
• Accept Of Wolves and Warriors from Durotan at coords 41.8, 69.6.
• Follow Durotan to coords 48.8, 65.2.
• Turn in this quest to Thrall at coords 48.6, 65.2.

4. For the Horde! - (Video)
• Accept the quest, For the Horde!, from Thrall at coords 48.6, 65.2.
• Click the Horde Banner at coords 48.7, 64.9
• After Gazlowe comes through the portal, you can turn in this quest to him at coords 48.8, 64.9.

5. Back to Work - (Video)
• Accept Back to Work and A Gronnling Problem from Gazlowe at 48.8, 64.9.
• Click 6 Tree Marking flags in Frostwall.

A Gronnling Problem
• Kill 8 Frostfire Gronnling while you mark trees in the area.
• Turn in Back to Work and A Gronnling Problem to Gazlowe at coords 48.8, 64.9.

6. The Den of Skog - (Video)
• Accept The Den of Skog from Gazlowe at 48.8, 64.9.
• Travel south to coords 48.4, 70.0.
• Kill Skog.
• Travel north to coords 48.8, 64.9 and turn in the quest to Gazlowe.

7. Establish Your Garrison - (Video)
• Accept Establish Your Garrison from Gazlowe at 48.8, 64.9.
• Travel southwest to coords 46.9, 66.3 and click on the Master Surveyor.
• After the cut-scene, travel east into your garrison, to coords 42.0, 55.0, and turn in the quest to Gazlowe.

8. We Require More Resources - (Video)
• Accept the quests, We Require More Resources, and What We Got, What We Need from Gazlowe at 42.0, 55.0., as well as The Ogron Live? from Rokhan at coords 45.6, 43.2.
• Pick up the Garrison Cache at coords 54.5, 52.2.

What We Got
• Travel east to coords 41.2, 50.4 and speak with Skaggit, telling him to "Get the peons back to work."
• Travel north to coords 49.0, 17.0.
• Speak with Senior Peon II and tell him, "Gazlowe needs you."

What We Need
• Travel east to a cave at coords 40.3, 60.3.
• Follow the path down to coords 41.8, 59.0, and pick up 10 Drudgeboat Salvage from the ground that you come across, also by killing/looting Pack Boar.

The Ogron Live?
• Defeat Groog, located at 41.8, 59.0 and exit the cave.
• Travel back to your garrison and turn in the quest to Rokhan, at coords 45.6, 43.2.
• Turn in the quests, We Require More Resources, What We Got, What We Need to Gazlowe at 42.0, 55.0.

9. Build Your Barracks - (Video)
• Accept Build Your Barracks from Gazlowe at 42.0, 55.0.
• Travel west to coords 59.6, 46.9 and pick up Garrison Blueprint: Barracks.
• Right click the blueprints, in your inventory.
• Go to coords 52.5, 53.1 and click on Architect Table, and click & drag the Barracks to the large empty plot (see video if you are unsure what I mean).
• Follow Gazlowe to coords 57.6, 47.8.
• Click Finalize Garrison Plot.
• Turn in this quest to Gazlowe, who is standing next to you (in front of the newly constructed Barracks).

10. We Need An Army - (Video)
• Accept the quest, We Need An Army, from Gazlowe.
• Travel to your Garrison's Town Hall, and turn in the quest to Warmaster Zog.

Winds of Change
• Accept Winds of Change from Warmaster Zog at coords 40.0, 54.4 (your garrison Town Hall).
• Exit your garrison, and travel northeast to a cave at coords 56.7, 62.6.
• Click on Olin Umberhide, located inside the cave.
• Exit the cave, travel back to your garrison Town Hall, and turn in the quest to Warmaster Zog.

11. Mission Probable - (Video)
• Accept Mission Probable from Warmaster Zog, in your garrison Town Hall.
• Click on the Command Table.
• After you click Next a few times in your Garrisons Mission window that pops up when you click the table, click on the mission Gronnlings Abound and click "Start Mission" (located at the bottom center of the Garrison Mission window.
• Turn the quest in to Warmaster Zog.

This quest is entirely gone for me after prepatch.
I did the one before it, but the NPC for this one never showed up. Hes just MIA.

During this quest, if you head to the plot where the fishing hut will eventually be built, you'll find Libby Wrenchwrecker who has unique dialogue for you, implying that she was supposed to be someone else you talked to during the quest:

"Commander! Great! Can you tell Gazlowe that if he is serious about trying to use this plot up here for fishing and farming that he is going to have to find someone who knows what they are doing?"
The click dialogue, "Gazlowe needs your extra construction materials." will put Wrenchwrecker's Inventory Report into your inventory- this item will not be removed on quest turn-in, and has no real use.

There is a bug in the quest.
If you come later (with a completed Garrison) without doing the entry quests, this quest can not be completed.
You can talk to Skaggit in the completed Garrison Town Hall, but he doesn't give any completion to this quest.
The Senior Peon II in the Garrison Town Hall doesn't respond.

Description

Every fortress needs three things.

One: peons! Find Skaggit and have him get our peons back to work.

Two: building materials. I had the peons set up a cache for you where they will store resources they create while you are away. You should check it out.

And three: raw experienced muscle! Constructing buildings in a garrison can take some time but I think we can speed up your first building by hiring Skaggit's recently promoted Senior Peon II. Find him and tell him I sent ya.
