While you are doing this quest, make sure to kill the elite NPC Jack Arrow. He will drop Captain Jack's Head which begins the quest Captain Jack's Dead.

If you're melee trying to do this on patch day (especially a Rogue, only class in the game without a ranged instant attack) I recommend suicide.

I tried to use Gnomish Gravity Well to get a height advantage during this quest and it says the item can't be used here. Huh? This is supposed to be an outdoor only item.

Also, we could use a list of longest range attacks in the game for each class because I'm seeing mages, druids, and Warlocks hitting them dropping out of the sky WAY before Hunters and other classes.

Thank you Blizzard for punishing me for not having a ranged attack. Appreciate it.

Edit: To complete this quest, I had to go Holy, from Protection. It look a while but I was able to Holy Shock enough mobs to get this quest done. That being said a quest shouldn't require you to change specs to complete it.

This quest is nearly impossible to do as a warrior, at least as of the first few days of release.
I basically have to group with a caster and let them do all the work.

Battleworn Paratroopers can end up in some rather interesting places.

They will just keep knocking back the hozen, effectively slowly advancing.

I have seen them go as far as the dooking fields.

Kite the mob into the roaming Hozen on Tiger mounts and they will do the work for you.... you can still loot the Air Medals.

You need to complete the Horde intro into Pandaria and follow all quests up to and including Swallowed Whole before this quest unlocks.

My favorite tactic here is to note when a Grookin Pounder (the ones on the tigers) is running, and where. Tag the Battleworn Paratrooper they're headed for, and they'll one-shot it for you.
