Go up the ramp where you get the quest, and in the room to the left is where you'll find all the pillows.

While doing this quest (or after doing, since I only realize she is yelling/spawn after i finish the whole chain), the chambermaid will be spawn in the same location.
She will drop a pillow that eventually lead to the reward of Evonice's Landin' Pilla.
(check the spawn page for detail)

The reason that you want to do this quest is very soft pillow DON'T share a cool down with Evonice's Landin' Pilla, as well as the reputation for Thorium Brotherhood

The pillows are in the walls, sort of like bunk beds built into the wall. I didn't see them at first. As nannybannany said, go up the ramp where you get the quest, and in those rooms right before where you hand in the quest is where the pillows are in the walls.

I mean, I know it's for a good cause but...I've tried an all-nighter. It wasn't pretty and this probably has to be the cruelest way to kill a dark iron...but realy?

How come no one has mentioned the "Gang" of Sleepy Dark Iron Workers who attack in the middle of this quest and never leave?

I got ambushed before completing and now the gang of workers (about 12) all pace back and forth through that hall. I am not sure how to complete it against that many plus the regular mobs standing around. There isn't enough time to complete before they return back within attack range.

I finished up Loremaster and was looking at all the quests I had not completed along the way. This was one of them. Since I've already done the pre-quest it doesn't appear that there is a way to trigger this quest. Perhaps getting another player who is on the quest to grab pillows until she spawns. However, if what Kaerathas said is true, why even bother anymore? I juts wanted this unique quest item for my collection. Sigh.. Just one more quest adjustment that wasn't needed. They did a lot of good things for quests in Cataclysm, but they also took away a lot of discovery.

Tried to kill the Chambermaid with my 50 Holy Priest and was doing reasonably well but every once in awhile she would cast a sequential Silence and you can't throw up a shield while silenced. Plus the spell interrupt was annoying. What is the purpose of the Chambermaid? To make you have to finish the quest at a later time or not at all? To make you bring your 85 in to swat her and then log off? To irritate you to the point where you warn others away from the quest? Just not getting it.

If like me you had to log out after killing obsidian and had no clue how to get back to stealing pillas run back to Lanie Reed at Thorium Point and take the flight into the Cauldron.. you'll have to do that clear the LZ thing again and fight your way back in some but at least it gets you there ;)

I am unable to receive this quest from Evonice. Is there a quest beforehand you must complete in order to have her offer it? I have not completed any Thorium Point quests apart from the spider-slaying.

Went to grab the pillows and Dark Iron Pillamaster (42,760 health) was in the room. I tried to solo her, but 2 Dark Iron Digmasters spawned. I was wondering how to do this quest, since she has so much health, and I ran around to the other side to try to steal pillows without aggroing her, and suddenly she just despawned.

Moral of the story: Dark Iron Pillamaster has nothing to do with this quest (now), and there is no timer on the pillows. Just sneak in on either end of the room, avoid her if she happens to be there, and grab your pillows. That's it.

When I turned in the quest today, I received 1100 (or 1540) Reputation gain with the Thorium Brotherhood, not 540 as stated in the quest description above.

Whilst doing this quest on my hunter, I encountered a weird bug. After looting a few, I could not loot anymore, the loot window would not appear, and I could not auto loot the pillows either!

Abandoning and accepting the quest again fixed everything.

Finally got Chambermaid Pillaclencher to appear!

When the first wave of dwarves didn't appear (waiting 10 mins after looting the first pillow), I just:

typed /reload
abandoned the quest
accepted the quest again
looted a few pillows and stayed in the barracks.

While clearing the odd re-spawned guard, the first wave of dwarves appeared after about 3 minutes; the second wave another 3 minutes after that; and the boss finally appeared about 4 minutes later.

Description

It's a little known fact that dwarves, particularly of the Dark Iron variety, need rest! Lots of rest!

Now I ask you; How can they sleep without pillows? Exactly, <name>, they can't. This is why you must steal their pillows.

Once you've finished your cushion-thievery, talk with Taskmaster Scrange. He's a bit deeper in the cave, working on a covert project with Hansel.
