From the Butchery, where you killed Gomora, go back out and to the left and follow the corridor untill you reach the Den of the Caller. Here you can pick the corridor to the left side. Follow it untill you reach the Hall of Bones. This is a room and from it's balcony you can see the Prophet right below you.

I can't complete this quest..
What the heck do I do wrong? Do I need an item that's not in the quest text? Do I need to approach the guy in a certain way? Is this quest no longer possible to complete after cata?

In case you are confused like I was at first, this quest is NOT completed in the instance. When I picked this quest up I remembered that one of the bosses in Sunken Temple is named Jammal'an the Prophet. The target for this quest is NOT the same NPC. To complete this quest you need to continue to follow the hallway past the room with Gomora. You will go down several staircases and then come to a room where this NPC is. Target is non-elite.

There is still a boss in Sunken Temple by the exact same name. There is a separate quest from an NPC just inside the instance for this boss. Very confusing to have two quest targets by the exact same name.

Wowhead says "Side: Alliance", but this quest can be done as Horde aswell.

For information, if you accidently abandon this quest, it can be picked up again from Lord Itharius at the top of the stepped pyramid.

Defeat Jammal'an the Prophet.

Description

All that yet stands between me and the temple is Prophet Jammal'an himself. He is the leader of the Atal'ai trolls here, a foul manipulator.

Know that you do not face a mere crazed troll, <name>, but an instrument of forces beyond your darkest comprehension. Yet you do not fight alone; my strength and the will of the Green Dragonflight go with you.

Proceed to the Den of the Caller, left through the Hall of Ritual, and then down into the Hall of Bones. At the bottom, you will find Jammal'an.
