The completion quest text is in reference to Shakespeare's Hamlet, Yorick being the deceased court jester.

If someone's not familiar with the word, "exsanguination" basically means bleeding out.

The title of this quest is a reference to the 1995 movie Waiting To Exhale, starring Whitney Houston among others.

If you skip the cinematic of the meeting between the two Worgen you will not get completion credit for the quest and will have to go to the outhouse to summon Yorick again.

When you receive the quest, you will then have to go to the Outhouse next to a House in the Ivar Patch to actually start the quest. When you start the quest, the following happens.

Deathstalker Rane Yorick says: We haven't got much time. Crowley will be arriving shortly. Let's go!

She will then lead you to the second floor of the house next to the outhouse.

Deathstalker Rane Yorick says: THERE! Hide in the armoire! I'll hide in the shadows next to you.

Examine the armoire and you will automatically enter. Yorick will go into stealth mode next to the armoire. Lord Darius Crowley and Packleader Ivar Bloodfang will then enter the room.

Lord Darius Crowley says: Have you given any more thought to my proposal, Ivar?
Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: Why trust you now, Crowley? You abandoned us. Left us to die.
Lord Darius Crowley says: If we're to win the war we will need your help. Our packs must unite! The Forsaken will destroy us otherwise.
Lord Darius Crowley says: You are the alpha male, Ivar. The rest of the ferals in Silverpine will do as you command.
Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: I don't care about your war, Crowley.
Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: But...
Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: I have seen firsthand what the Forsaken are capable of doing. It is true. They hunt us... slaughter the defenseless.
Lord Darius Crowley says: So you will help?
Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: Aye, I will gather my pack... we...

Packleader Ivar Bloodfang will then walk towards you while sniffing the air.

Packleader Ivar Bloodfang sniffs at the air.
Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: It would appear we are being watched, Crowley. You have grown soft... Likely Greymane's fault.

Packleader Ivar Bloodfang then howls and snatches Deathstalker Rane Yorick out of the shadows and holds her up.

Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: Treacherous little pup!
Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: What say you now, spy?
Deathstalker Rane Yorick says: I live... and die... for the Banshee Queen.
Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: I was hoping you'd say that...

I'm not sure what exactly happens here, but Packleader Ivar Bloodfang then throws Yorick across the room and it's enough to kill her.

Packleader Ivar Bloodfang says: I will prepare the pack. It will take some time to gather them all, but we will join... for now.

Packleader Ivar Bloodfang and Lord Darius Crowley departs.

Don't worry about what happens to Yorick. She'll likely just get resurrected by ol' Agatha later on and be well on her way to serving the Forsaken once more. :D

If you are having trouble completing this quest due to the cut scene always cutting out. I had to disable all of my addons. One of them was trying to skip the cut scene.

Tried to do this quest tonight on my vulpera. As soon as I click on the armoire to hide, it does not allow me to hide (kicks me out and around the room) so I can't complete the quest. Abandoning/restarting does not work.

If you're using Azeroth Auto Pilot or Leatrix Plus be sure to turn off cutscene skip. You have to finish the entire scene to get completion credit.

Waiting to Exsanguinate

Enter the Ivar Cottage and find a suitable hiding place upstairs. Then eavesdrop on Lord Darius Crowley.

Description

The Gilneas Liberation Front leader, Darius Crowley, has been meeting with another worgen inside this cottage for the past three days. I'm not sure what's going on, but we need to get inside the cottage and find a good hiding place from where we can eavesdrop.

It's now or never, <race>. We may never get another shot.

Just promise me that if I don't make it, you'll return to Forsaken High Command and inform Belmont of whatever we discover.
