Faerie Dragons are shown as Sprite Darter or Sprite Dragon.

Hope that helps anyone who is searching for a mob called "Faerie Dragon".

Shift-V helps a little bit but not a lot because they're quite spaced apart. As with all these quests it can be done mounted.

This and Forces of Nature: Mountain Giants are follow-up quests from a series of "Forces of Nature" quests from Handler Tessina at Estulan's Tower (the Highborn camp further west, opposite Dire Maul), starting with Forces of Nature: Wisps.

If you're like me and you just want to get trough this quest ASAP without dealing with the Horde Poachers, be aware that Jesana's Faerie Dragon Call works while mounted, so just stay on your mount and ride away from the poachers if they do spawn.

Before you can do this quest, and Forces of Nature: Mountain Giants, you have to complete the series of quests offered by Handler Tessina over at the Tower of Estulan.

Description

You wouldn't know it from looking at them, but the lovely faerie dragons that inhabit this forest can be truly fearsome if trained properly. They can do amazing things to magical energy...absorb it, redirect it, even nullify it entirely.

They're nearly harmless alone, but in large numbers, they can have a stunning effect on a battle. You can find some in the fields to the northwest, but be careful, the Horde is nearby.
