You are looking for the Sadow Sprite and the Rascal Sprite in the caves north of Dolanaar.

Just run around and spam the quest item as much as you can on the enemies inside until it's complete :)

Bah...the quest language should be more specific. I could have done this while in the cave. But I suppose sending me to the quest giver who asks for the boss's head should have been a tip off.

FYI: you can use the pods after you kill 12 of the things, so you can use it to get in and out of the cave without fighting the sprites for the most part if you want to. I cleared the cave, save for respawn, on the way in and out the FIRST time when I went after the boss. The second time in, I just used the pods. The sprites mostly just drop copper and eyes....um...gross.

Just a reminder, after you've killed your 12 sprites and the Ironroot seeds have disappeared from your quest info on the right of your screen, they are still in your bags and will be until you turn the quest in. So no need to ever actually fight the sprites.

There is also a named rare called Thregill in the cave with the sprites. He looks just like any other sprite and your Ironwood seeds have no effect on him. You're probably concentrating more on targeting your Ironwood seeds than targeting the sprites and he hits rather hard if you're doing this quest at level, so it's quite possible that he'll have you down to 3/4 or 2/3 health by the time you realize he's different and actually start fighting him.

Description

I'm glad you were willing to atone for your mistake - it speaks a great deal about your character.

I have another task for you. I have gathered some ireroot seeds. They are somewhat like fel cones, but quite a bit more potent. Nature often responds very negatively to demons, and these ireroot seeds prompt a very concentrated form of that reprisal.

To our north, in Fel Rock, there are grellkin that are far beyond redemption. Use the ireroot seeds to route them before they become a more serious threat.
