No it's not! We are doing something evil here! The questgiver (Pelturas Whitemoon) is a monster! I wish he was flagged differently so I could beat him up.

He's been trying to "cure" Relara since before Cata. There's even a comic about it. Really what's he's doing is poisoning his daughter to make her sick. Remember the movie Six Sense where the mother was putting drain cleaner into her food? That's what you are helping him do by doing this questline.

In the Münchausen by Proxy syndrome, an adult care-giver makes a child sick by either fabricating symptoms or actually causing harm to the child whereby convincing not only the child but others, including medical providers, that their child is sick.

This info used to be in the notes of the old pre-Cata questline, but I can't find it.

BUG: I was unable to turn this quest in. I had the Moonstones in my bag, but there was no question mark above Pelturas Whitemoon's head. It showed a question mark on my mini map in his location, but like I said, when I clicked on him, he would not speak to me. Not sure what happened, but I eventually just had to abandon the quest.

Deliver the Sanctified Moonstones to Pelturas Whitemoon at Astranaar in Ashenvale.

Description

Thank you for saving me from a fate worse than death, <name>! For saving both the child and myself!

Well, the child is almost saved. All you have to do is take the moonstones back west down the road to Astranaar. Hand them to Pelturas and he will know what to do.
