I needed 4 more quests in Darkshore for the quest achievement, and I had no idea where to look. I thought I had done this, but I for some reason hadn't actually looted the item after killing him the first time for a quest.

Anyways, this opens up 3 more quests. The last quest linked also rewards a vanity pet, for all you pet collectors out there.

The beginning quests of the chain following the one this quest concludes are likely to be low level quests if you're a Worgen. They are offered by Sentinel Lendra, and the ! will not appear above her head unless you have Low Level Quests tracked.

I doubt this item is actually worth the time you need to spend doing this very lengthy quest chain, unless you are making a level 10 twink and have your exp turned off. Even then, I have my doubts, since in battle grounds, everybody now scales to level 14 (in this 10 to 14 bracket) but the armor remains the same.

For example, +1 strength on a level 10 is a fair bit, but +1 strength on a level 14 is worth much less than say +3 strength that a real level 14 can equip. Your character level scales up but your gear does not.

So.. Twinking at level 10 will get you pwned by somebody that twinked for level 14, because your level 10 gear can't compare to the level 14 gear. Remember.. when you enter a battleground, you are made to be a level 14, but your gear keeps the same stats as level 10 gear, because that is what it is. SO.. if you have a bracer with +1 strength that you equip at level 10, the level 14 probably has +3 strength on the bracer he could equip at level 14. +1 str on a level 14 (you, promoted from 10) is not nearly as good as +3 str on an actual level 14.

It gets even worse from 15-19. Remember the necklace and rings you get from the pvp vendors? You can't equip those at all until level 18. Hence, your level 15 twink, will have empty sockets in those slots or be using the +2 agil malachite pendant and a +2 stam ring. (cant remember the other JC crafted items for that level, asilde from the +2 agil malachite ring.

All in all, blizzards attempt to make things "fair" did exactly the opposite. A level 10 now has no chance to compete against a level 14, due to stat scaling. Or lack of stat scaling. It used to be fairly balanced, a well geared 10 have a chance vs an equally geared 14. Now it comes down to gear you can actually before entering pvp.

This being said, spending 4 hours or more on this lenghty chain hardly seems worth it

So I noticed that there are a lot of Quest lists that show how to get to Disturbing Connections. They pretty much list all the quests in the zone. I don't want to do all the quests so, I'm going to clear up what unlocks what and what is needed to finish this chain.

To start I'm on a druid that has only done the quest Writings of the Void. This is a pretty easy quest and awards two achievements, going down and Ghosts in the Dark.

Next I did The Last Wave of Survivors. When I finished there were no new quests so I did Threat from the Water and that unlocked Buzzbox 413. After finishing Buzzbox 413 do the follow ups: No Accounting for Taste and Buzzbox 723.

Now do The Corruption's Source and A Cure In The Dark.
(A Cure In The Dark might not be reqired because it didn't unlock anything when I finished it.)

Doing The Corruption's Source unlocks The Final Flame of Bashal'Aran, A Love Eternal and A Lost Companion.

Turning in A Lost Companion unlocks Twice removed, Unsavory Remedies and Ritual Materials. Do all three.

The next step is The Ritual Bond. To do this quest you need to pick an animal. That animal will give you a preeminent buff that you will have when ever you are in Darkshore.

Your choices are:
If you choose Moonstalkers you get Blessing of the Moonstalker
If you choose the Bears you get Blessing of the Thistle Bear
If you choose the Stags you get Blessing of the Stag

Then I did Grimclaw's Return but I dont think it's required because The Shatterspear Invaders was unlocked before I turned it in.

Do The Shatterspear Invaders and you are now where you want to be. Do the follow up quests Remnants of the Highborne and Shatterspear Laborers. Now do Denying Manpower and War Supplies.

Side note on Denying Manpower. In my opinion, the reward from this quest, Tysha's Chestguard, is the best black leather you can get from quests at lvl 20 and that makes it good F2P mog gear.

Now do:
On the Brink and Strategic Strikes.

Pick up The Front Line. Go over to the night elf mounted on a dark saber. She can give you a ride to your quest turn in.

The Ancients' Ire is not needed but it gives you a ride to the next step as well as an easy way to clear the path.

Now pick up Ending the Threat. You will need to talk to the quest giver again so she shoots Jor'kil and makes him weak for you. Make sure you loot Jor'kil as he drops Hellscream's Missive. The Missive starts the quest Disturbing Connections.

Remembrance of Auberdine opens up after this quest and rewards Withers.

I've done the first 2 requirement quests and it says the quest start has a 95.56% drop rate. I've killed him 10+ times and haven't gotten it am I doing it wrong or do I have terrible luck?

If you attack and defeat the trolls by yourself, you will not be offered the Disturbing Connections quest.
Make sure to speak to Huntress Sandrya Moonfall first, to initiate the attack.

Description

The letter from Garrosh Hellscream makes clear the suspicions that were raised during the offensive on the Shatterspear. The presence of forsaken at the tower ruins and horde supplies and enforcers at the Shatterspear War Camp were only the start. Garrosh himself contacted the Shatterspear to spur their offensive towards Lor'danel, and it seems clear that he fully intends to push from the south as well.

Glynda Nal'Shea will need this information if the night elves are to be prepared.
