Carved Wooden Chest is in Stormsong Valley Thornheart on Kul Tiras Isle at 44.44 73.53.
To find the treasure start your way at the north Briarback Kraul entrance at 42.40 67.21.
Go into the Kraul, run straight and you'll come against a big rock with the pass up right next to it.
Take the pass and run straight again until you reach a big hole with giant thorns Thornheart at 44.39 75.36.
If you look down that hole you'll see a platform with blue fire on it, you have to jump on it.
Then follow the tunnel to get the treasure.

Carved Wooden Chest rare chest can be found in Stormsong Valley.

Location: 44.4 73.6
Part of: Treasures of Stormsong Valley

The chest is located in a cave at Briarback crawl. Path starts from 42.5 66.7
Pass through the entrance, proceed down until you spotted a runic stone.
Take left path leading up and through the stone arch. The chest mark should appear.
Get to the edge, take a spot under the chest mark (look at minimap).
There's a pool under there and other edge you have jump down to. There's the cave you need.

I had some difficulty finding this one, so I want to make this a bit easier on folk.

Beginning at 42.43, 67.44 in Roaring Highland facing South, go up the tunnel of torches and you'll zone change into Briarback Kraul. You'll pass a hut on your right and go under a vined archway as the hill then goes down to a T-junction with a stone with aqua blue design on it. Facing this stone, on your right, you'll see a ramped stone that goes almost over the top of the painted stone. Go up this ramp and hug the right wall. You'll see another hut on your left, as you go round to the right underneath low rock to zone into Quilltop. The path you're on here naturally veers round to the right and you'll see a large hole covered in huge thorny purple colored vines. Move closer to them and the edge and you'll zone into Thornheart. Look down and you'll see a pool of nice water with a Bubbling Cauldron in it. Turn the camera to face yourself and right below you, you'll see a bright blue torch. That's the path you need to drop down onto, and the chest is in there.

To get to the Carved Wooden Chest, you have to go to the Briarback Kraul. Go up the slope to the south of "Goldfeld's Farm" and keep right. At the Briarback Kraul keep left until you reach the "Thornheart" and then jump into the hole onto a rock ledge. Then go into the cave in the rock and at the end of the tunnel you'll find the chest in which there is an Pig Nose with which you can tackle the achievement Every Day I'm Truffling. :-)

Note that if you drop onto the wrong ledge or start getting attacked by mobs or such and need a reset, there is a thorn vine starting at around 43,67 at the bottom that runs back up to the top. I used that when I dropped onto the wrong ledge and also was able to lose most of the aggro on some mobs chasing me (though I still had to fight some).

Keep in mind that you must loot the Pig Nose from the Carved Wooden Chest prior to the Pig Nose being available for purchase (for 25 Briarback Quills) from vendor Hobbs.

I can't seem to drop onto the ledge no matter what I try. I move as little as possible until I drop and I go right past the ledge.

Hi all

On This Achievement Treasures of Stormsong Valley you need to open 10 Treasures. Some of them are in cave one even on ship.

Treasures in Order what I done:

1. Carved Wooden Chest - 64 43 In Cave. Inside you can find Pig Nose.
2. Frosty Treasure Chest - 49 84 On top of Hill next to small lake
3. Smuggler's Stash - 59 84 under bridge in water
4. Discarded Lunchbox - 58 64 in bulding on the top shelf. inside you can find An Unforgettable Luncheon.
5. Sunken Strongbox - 67 42 Under ship in water
6. Hidden Scholar's Chest - 59 38 on top of bulding.
7. Old Ironbound Chest - 44 48 in cave
8. Forgotten Chest - 46 31 on top of Hill
9. Venture Co. Supply Chest - 37 23 on ship need use rope
10. Weathered Treasure Chest - 69 11 in cave hidden in grass

Can you loot this chest more than once? It doesn't appear to me and I have previously opened the chest. I can buy the nose Hobbs (which I have done until now, but loot is always good).

This was tough to find. You have to be in Thornheart. After killing the mobs center yourself on the Bubbling Cauldron. Look up and around for a ledge with a Brazier on it.

Easier now days - fly to 60,78 - 42,28 descend downward onto path, enter cave where torch is lit.
