This treasure is not personal and anyone on your realm can loot it and you can loot it unlimited amount of times. This treasure also drops Fel-Corrupted Apexis Fragment if you're on the quest Unseen Influence.

There is also one down in Fang'rila on the roof of a cave overlooking the lake down there. I'm sorry, can't give coordinates, as I didn't think about it til too late. If I go down there again soon I'll edit this. There are 2 saberons in the cave, you kill them and look up by entrance and you can see it. Only way I could get to it was by going outside, up a small ramp to the left of the cave (facing the cave), then position camera so you can see inside and see the fragment. It'll take a bit of positioning but it's clickable without aggroing the 2 inside.

While the wowhead statistic states 63% drop rate for Fel-Corrupted Apexis, actually it is 100% drop rate if you are on the quest Unseen Influence. Otherwise it will always drop garrison resources. The baleful items drop (at their low rate) in either case in addition to one of those 2.

Definitely not the best way to farm for Baleful gear... I kinda of learned that after picking up about around 100 of these and only got 2 Baleful items.
Stick with rares instead!

Requires: level 100
These can be looted multiple times per day across all characters.
They appear in mostly Elite areas of Tanaan Jungle (Ruins of Kra'nak, Throne of Kil'jaeden, Fang'rila).

List of all continually-lootable treasures found in Tanaan Jungle:

Suspiciously Glowing Chest
Radiating Apexis Shard
Gleaming Draenic Chest
Looted Treasures do not drop tokens or Fel-Corrupted Apexis Fragment

Is there a daily limit on how many Baleful items you can get from these?
Started noticing that after I get a third Baleful item these just stop dropping.

EDIT:

So today I try'd looting these on different lvl 100 toons. And I've noticed that there is indeed a cap on how many Baleful tokens you can get from these crystals. I looted these with and without the Unseen Influence quest and after my THIRD Baleful token I stopped getting them.

I've been realmhopping and looting these shards in Kra'nak for around 1.5hours now, and have gotten at least 10 Baleful Tokens. Probably opened around 150-200 of the shards.
I vendored a few Baleful items that dropped for the same slot, but I am currently in 10/16 Baleful gear. So I don't think there's a limit to how many Baleful per day.

It should be said that I flew here from Garrison, but I haven't upgraded garrison to lvl 3 or gotten shipyard to actually start this zone "officially" from the quest. Not sure if it matters, because mobs attack me and i can loot stuff like this.

I have been farming these for a few weeks to use with my trading post as an income source, last night I was farming for 2-4 hours steady and the last three hours I did not receive a SINGLE baleful drop.

This has never happened to me before but this change is oddly close to the recent drop changes they made to the Love Tokens for the "Love is in the Air" event.

Open Question: Has anyone seen a significant drop in their baleful drops?

Posted this earlier on Suspiciously Glowing Chest but the same goes for these;

It has come to my attention that if you see a Radiating Apexis Shard you can open it, without looting all the items in it (you can leave the Garrison Resources in it for example) and everyone else will be able to loot it after you without the chest dissappearing until 90-120 seconds AFTER you opened the shard.

The loot will be sent to you if you don't loot it by postmaster.

So if you want to be nice and still get the loot;

Open the container, leave the garrison resources inside the Shard container (you probably don't need them anyway) and wait for them to arrive by postmaster, everyone else afterwards can open it without it dissappearing and will still receive loot.

I tested this more than ten times with different spawn points, worked every time.

If you do loot all the contents, the shard dissappears immediately for all players.

If you stand at 58:79, on top of the cave, you can zoom your view all the way out and see into the cave and click on the Apex Shard which is inside the cave on the roof.

The absolute best place for farming these is Farlight Terrace north of Ruins of Kra'nak. Lying everywhere - easy to find without really looking. Beaware though there are lvl 100 elite mobs - easy though as a lvl 110 mage.
