If you are standing near the "rare" icon, on your minimap, Mosa is in a cave below.
The cave's entrance is west-south-west, and not far, before you get to a much higher cliff.

13 Flightstones and 70 Dragon Isles Supplies is what dropped, for me.

It looks like it has 2-hour respawn timer, can't confirm though.

Edit: Killed it about 15 times and almost every time it respawned within 2 hours, occasionally 2h30m. Still hard to pinpoint the exact respawn timer as some ppl claim 3+ hour respawn timer.

Final edit: It is on 2-hour respawn timer as I previously mentioned, sometimes it can take even longer if you get thrown into a different shard.
It only drops loot on the first kill of the day. After that it only drops grey items and if you get lucky it can drop a world drop item, but nothing from the loot table.

Went after this guy tonight.
I'm one of those hunters that needs matched pets, so I needed him twice.
First time I got there and sat around about an hour and a half so I couldn't tell you how long before that.
Got my first tame no problem.

Settled in to wait for the second.

Right at about 2:15 he popped up. As I was going to tame another hunter must have been flying by the cave. Flew in landed and aggroed him off my tame. As you know once the tame is broken, there's no getting it back. You cant' 'out aggro' them then stop and tame before they take the aggro back and or kill him.

So that was two hours and 15 minutes wasted.

Settled in to wait again. This time it was only an hour. On the dot, and he respawned again. I got the tame and headed out. Even as I was leaving I saw two draggos swooping towards the cave. So you need to be fast.

That said I can confirm he's on a variable timer. First time was at least an hour and a half (how much more I'm not sure.). Second time was a bit over 2 hours, but the third time was right at an hour.

Hunter's please check wow-petopia.com before you decide to camp a rare. Mosa Umbraclaw as an identical normal mob version called Angered Umbraclaw - tame this instead of Mosa. There are various colors of the Angered Umbraclaw but I'm sure one looking like Mosa will pop up eventually.

Camped the cave for 2h30+ min after I killed her (farming the druid form). Hasn't spawned yet.
Seems like the respawn his higher than 2hrs.

Final edit: It does indeed respawn every 2 hours, BUT you can get sharded at anytime, even while camping, and might have to wait much longer. Keep an eye on the shard ID.

It seems like it’s on a 2-5 hour timer.

I killed it at 18:00-18:01 and it didn’t reappear 19, 20, or 21. I killed it again between 23:00-23:01. I was curious if it also spawned after 2,5 hours without me noticing, so I logged on in the middle of every 5 hour stretch and never saw it.

This was on Twisting Nether EU. I’ll check the same times again today.

Edit: It spawned 17:57 today, so assuming next one is 22:57, but I'll stay logged on on my PC in my living room until then. To confirm if it actually spawns every 5 hours or not. After the first kill I logged on to my second druid on the same realm, and it also spawned there a few min after 18, so my characters must have been in different shards of the same realm.

Edit 2: On druid 1 I killed it at 17:57, quickly relogged to druid 2 and killed it at 18:10, logged back on druid 1 and camped the cave and it respawned 19:57. Quickly relogged to druid 2 and it didn't respawn 20:10. It's 20:30 as of now, still a no show.

There must be some dependencies I'm not aware of, or a shard lottery. Doesn't seem like it's safe to relog or leave/re-enter Emerald Dreams and assume it will be there again 2 hours after you last killed It on another character.

On Terenas realm, tamed back to back on 11/13/23 at 12:45pm and 3:00pm, so 2:15 minute respawn timer, and I never left the cave after my first tame.

Now I've got two purdy indigo owlbear gents running with me on my adventures!

EDIT: Why on earth is this being downvoted? I was contributing to the timing of the respawn information back in November when it was still not for sure. And I definitely didn't "steal" it from a druid, which I main, as all it would take is a simple attack from any camping druid to interrupt a hunter's tame. And also, this is the only tameable indigo colored owlbear, check Petopia if you feel that a hunter could go tame another one somewhere else....I'd love to have more so go ahead and tell me where I don't have to wait for at least 2 hours and compete with all the druids and hunters after this...go ahead, i'll wait....just tell me....

For general stuff: Time for respawn seems to be between 2-3 hours (sharding can alter this).

For the bad stuff: Unfortunately, blizzard in their infinite wisdom has decided to not only make this a 2-3 hour respawn but has tied the new Druid form appearance to it, alongside making this color the ONLY Umbra colored Umbraclaw that there is in the game. And did I mention that the Druid drop is a 0.7% chance?

For those claiming that the Angered Umbraclaw is the way around this issue, you would be incorrect. Mosa is a different color than the Angered unfortunately.

Really hoping Blizzard decreases the respawn time, this feels like a massive slipup.

Made a macro to check if you've killed the 6 druid rares already. Hope this helps my fellow druids with these farms!

Hi guys! I finally got mine today when I logged in thankfully after quite a few kills.

I did want to mention that I noticed while camping another spawn, on the same shard someone said Mosa was up. I'd only been home for about an hour twenty at that point and on my computer an even shorter period than that. From what I've seen most people think the spawn is around 2 hours, it looks to be closer to an hour.
