She is a SPAWN rare. Can spawn when you kill druids of the flame, she doesnt let out a yell, just starts flying from the ground, not interactable for a few seconds. It seems to have a little delay tho, because she spawned from a pack i killed like 10s ago.

I wanted to make an update on this. I have been farming at the fields of reverie and I noticed she spawned in both times I killed her after an Invading Earthshaker says "I will be avenged". These specific mobs don't usually say anything after you kill them so I feel that this is most likely connected to spawning this rare.

So gathering info from here and what I've done today as far as this Rare goes:

You can kill both Primalists and Druids of the Flame in an area where they are together. They must say "I will be avenged." when they die to trigger the spawn.
There may be an internal cooldown from the last time she was killed to when she can be spawned again and that seems to be 1 hour.
There is no "She spawns in one part of the zone a day" as we had a druid killing in the fields near base camp and near the raid on the same day and she spawned at both spots on the same day.
She will most often spawn in the same area where the druid/primalist that died says the line.

Minor Edit: There is an off chance you will get a mob to say the required line and the rare could spawn at another location. But so far this occurrence has been rare. Most of the times we've gotten her to spawn where the mob says the line.

Killing all of the invading mobs in Fields of Reverie and Scorching Chasm has a random chance to spawn the rare. Some facts about spawn/loot:

- It spawned after getting " I will be... avenged. " text
- No need for the fire orb to spawn the rare
- Can be looted in raid composition
- Can be looted once per day per character
- Can be solo tanked
- I killed about a 100 mobs before I made it to spawn
- Strongly suggest to create a grp for it so others can loot as well.
- For solo players, if you can tank, mass pull entire area of mobs and AOE. So far the fastest method to make it spawn.

Did this for about an hour this morning at 4am, eventually rarescanner went off saying that Talthonei had spawned, but he was not targetable anywhere, I checked both north and south and found no NPC or body. Either rarescanner bugged out, or her spawn did.

Made a macro to check if you've killed the 6 druid rares already. Hope this helps my fellow druids with these farms!

After farming mobs, idling and roaming around for about 9h, she spawned only twice.
I have the feeling, it is just a weird spawn timer. Somewhat random between n and N hours.

I have to correct myself - after 40h spawncamping, the mentioned mob message always resulted in a spawn of Talthonei.

I've build a small weakaura, that pops an alert, if a mob said the mentioned phrase:

I hope this helps someone.

Ashwhisper spawn notice was given by rare addon but I was unable to locate the npc anywhere.

I then killed everything in the area /way #2200 63.6 70.0 Talthonei Ashwhisper
- just up and down the hill on the left of the cave (not Volgoth).
Within 10 minutes of the original rare addon notice, an Invading Earthshaker said: "I will be... avenged." and she spawned as a bird and flew to the big yellow flower at the bottom of the hill.

There seems to be no method or predictability to this, or how long it takes to spawn her. Some days I farm for over an hour, some days she shows up in a few minutes, and many times I don't get the "avenged" line at all she just appears.

Spawned at 61, 41 she was just sitting here. I assume the mobs just next to her area were being farmed by someone. Rare scanner did not go off.

Farming for the druid travel form.
Spawned after killing a few hundred mobs for about 1.5 hours.
Spawned in the Fields of Reverie in southern Emerald Dream. She spawned at the base of the hill and flew into the yellow flowers. Like everyone else is saying.
The Travel form did not drop
I do not know the drop chance on the Druid Travel form.

OK ,So after an hour at the Location Fields of Reverie I check out a video on you tube and it sent me to Primalist Stronghold I killed a few Flamecreasted Portalweavers and got the message "I will be... avenged." and he Spawned didn't not drop but at least he spawned ..wouldn't waste your time at the other location (Fields of Reverie) Good Luck

This mob has a tendency to appear (untargettable) after seeing the "i will be avenged" line, but then will despawn before ever becoming attackable. So be warned

Tal doesn't appear to have a minimum respawn time - I have seen simultaneous spawns pop up - for each fire-base primalist killed there is a chance she will spawn. She will spawn near the primalist that triggered her - so if people are killing primalists in multiple locations she can spawn at any of the linked locations.

The primalists will do an emote both when pulled and when they die, you are looking for one saying "I will be avenged" when they die, she will then fly in nearby, she will be untargetable until she has landed and shifted to her humanoid form and does a short RP emote sequence.

The quickest way to spawn her is to group farm her, because more people killing will have more chances to spawn her, but you can spawn her solo. There doesn't seem to be any sort of cumulative counter on the chance to spawn kills, each primalist death is an independent chance to spawn her. I find Lushdream Crags the easiest place to farm her as there is a good concentration of fire only primalists with a fast respawn rate. The other popular farm location is the Fields of Reverie, but note that not all mobs there are fire aligned.

I farmed a ridiculous 405 apples today trying to get her to spawn. it took about 3 hours and I didn't even get the drop. Insane rare

Sometimes it doesn't spawn even when the "avenged" line is said. Really frustrating - and has happened twice now in different areas of the zone.

Just had two of these rares spawn at the same time a few yards apart from each other. we killed them together but still only got one loot drop.

I have seen her spawn at the Smoldering Copse at about (36.39, 55.21). It was during a time where the flame portals were up for the quest Portal Panic.

I had been killing druids in the Field of Reverie. World Quest was also on. She just spawned for me after about 30-45 minutes without the aforementioned "I will be avenged" emote from killed mobs. I had been diligently watching chat. I was about to post here whether the emote will trigger from mobs killed by non-druid players or just druids.

The last emote before she spawned was "Our deaths... only delay... our ascension.." which was one of the 2-3 others repeatedly spoken by the many mobs killed. Then Rarescanner ping'd me that she showed up a minute later.

took an episode and half of mythbusters but got him to spawn. didn't drop the druidform. but it was indeed off a invading sparkhewer.

Every now and then I decide it's time, this is the last form I am missing from 10.2, I will not leave until I get her to spawn. Then an hour or two pass by without she ever showing up and I come here in hope someone else figured out what kind of baby animal we have to sacrifice or what demon we need to summon, what I need to promise to the devil for a fast spawn. It's absolutely mind blowing how bad this is designed.

don't mind me blizzard I'm just going to farm these mobs for an absolute eternity with no idea if the spawn timer has elapsed yet or not. this is an awesome design for a minimal drop rate. neat. cool. I like this. this is fun.

On top of being the worst rare to farm in this zone in my opinion, now it also didn't spawn when finally got the "avenged" line after i farmed for an hour. Scanner went off but the rare never phased in. amazing.

Hi all,

Search the area of Fields of Reverie for a flame seed randomly burning on the ground all over the FOR area. I was able to get Talthonei to spawn within the duration of that buff (8 minutes) by non stop killing.

On previous kills, I would farm that area for 1-2 hours before a spawn would appear. I can't prove anything & maybe it's coincidence but I don't particularly believe that. this was a noticeable difference.

I will do this now on my 2nd druid & report the results from the 2nd flame seed Talthonei spawn test.

edit: I did get the flame seed but it was more like a 30 hour to get Talthonei to spawn. I'll continue doing it this way but there's no way to tell until Blizzard confirms it. Hope this
helps.
edit2: 1 day later, I get the flame seed, kill 6 mobs, and Talthonei spawns.
edit3: it seems completely random with or without the flame seed & the spawn timer in general
edit4: dropped after 6-7 days on 2 druids so 2 daily attempts

I have managed to kill her like 3 times over the span of 5 days and this is the information i have gathered so far:

> She does spawn from killing ads in either of the marked areas
> She only spawns after either one of the adds say "I will be avenged"
> After the line is said, she will land in an area close to you and you can kill her
> It does not feel like all adds are eligible to say the line, i usually kill Flamespeakers in the area /way 62.39, 68.80

Frustrating aspects to farming her:

> Can only do it once per day
> Can spawn in all of the areas listed on her page upon killing the mobs. So you can be in Scorching Chasm killing mobs and she can spawn in Fields of Reverie
> Rare Scanner will pick her up only if you are in the right area
> World Quests or Emerald Dewdrop Challenges can overlapp with the areas where she spawns and when that happens there is an increased chance people will spawn her at random and kill her, even if not farming her specifically
> Since you never really know where she spawns it's hard to give an estimate on her possible spawn time. It surely does not feel like it's a 2 hour timer either way

As a Druid farming the Mark of the Smoldering Dreamstag you really need to consider if all of this is worth it with all the variables listed above, and not just wait for next expansion, where you would have at least eliminated to some extent people killing the adds for the World Quests, Emerald Dewdrops or whatever other reason there is. It is a 2% chance to drop even after you do finally get her to spawn. Good luck!

PS: If you do somehoe manage to spawn it, it would be good etiquette to post her location on the map in General chat and wait 2-5 Minutes to see if anyone comes. If you're here reading this you probably already know how tedious this is so do a good for the community. She doesn't despawn or go anywhere.
