I have been solo'ing the 3 bosses of the arena for a while now as a Retribution Paladin, because I want to do the daily quest for the fourth boss.
Azmogal, Xantuth the Blighted, Unbreakable Urtz.

Tactics I use for Xantuth the Blighted:
Xantuth the Blighted is one of the easiest, as the worst ability he uses is Deathshades, which summons 2 dragons who does a strafing bombing run that deals massive dmg if you are hit. When he starts to cast Deathshades it takes a while for the dragons to come through and of what I've gathered, their run crosses at the spot where he cast the spell, which means that after he's cast it, you should kite him away (again kite him around the arena). Again when he cast Necrosis which summons giant skull around him, just kite him away. Once in a while he will use Tail Sweep, which if you are solo'ing him you can just ignore as it is only an attack at the back of him.
The other major ability he uses is Blighted Breath, which you should avoid, so as soon as you see him start casting it, just move to either side, as it is a front lined attack, which can easily be avoided by moving to the sides.

Extremely rude. For one, his adds screech louder than any other noise I've heard in-game; but worse, those adds will kill you even at the top of the stairs leading into the arena. The world quest was up and I saw Xantuth at 90%, so I figured I'd check if it was players or NPCs fighting him. One step on the stairs, and his dragons split my ear drums and killed my character at the same time. Like come on, at least the top of the stairs should be safe from instagib effects, Blizz. Let us at least get close enough to see if real people are fighting.

This mobs AoEs reach through the entire arena and will easily hit and kill people not even aggro'd by him.

And he'll do these AoEs if the random NPCs in the arena attack him.

What a dog^&*! mob.
