Use to charge Empty Energy Cell, turning them into Energy Cell.

Goblins run the place so using the Charging Station costs money.
In order to gain access, you can contribute 250 Spare Parts or 1 Energy Cell while it's being built.
Alternatively, you can complete the quest Wanna Charge? Gotta Pay! after it's been built. This is more disadvantageous as you need to pay both Spare Parts and an Energy Cell.

Once unlocked, you'll have a 2 hour buff Access: Charging Station and you'll be able charge as many Empty Energy Cell as you want, FOR FREE, though stay vigilant as angry NPCs will start attacking the Charging Station, eventually destroying it if not stopped.

You can obtain Empty Energy Cell from Rare drops, Mechanized Chests, Fishing or some Daily quests.

is there a rep lvl required to use the charge station, I have 2 alts on mechagon that are in friendly that have mats required to pay to use it, empty cells and I can not access it, the guys says 2 this, what is the station and you charge too much, this is extortion!

It has been down for me on my main for over a week? What is the deal....I have a daily for it today to use it and a butt load of empty cells.

If you are, like I was, getting frustrated after days of checking the yard and this not being available, make sure you check the daily quests in Rustbolt. There is one given by Flip Quickcharge which grants access to Flux's Wanna Charge? Gotta Pay!

Don't know if the charging station has been affected by 8.25, but it's turned invisible. I've taken the daily quest, paid for the use, and it's... gone. People are running up to it and vanishing so presumably it's still there, but reload, restarting the game etc isn't making any difference. Buggy pile of cr&p!

Letting everyone know that despite what you read here, If you go to Bondo's Yard and the machine is not up and running, DO NOT turn in the quest to NPC Flux. The machine and its respawn visibility is extremely bugged/broken.

Should it happen to be up (RNG gods willing, apparently...), and you don't want to be bothered by troggs, just limit your charging runs to five or six cells each. This way you'll never draw any trogg aggro.

No guarantee that anyone else would watch their limit though, so do keep that in mind.

Its even more bugged now. The charging station is there, the NPC is there but the quest isnt.

When you use the charging station, you have 2 options:

1. Stand there & charge up Empty Energy Cells. Mobs will periodically show up and attack you, preventing you from charging until you kill them.
2. Equip an Anti-Gravity Pack & fly while you charge Empty Energy Cells. Mobs cannot hit you. However, they will hit the Charging Station instead and destroy it unless repaired. The Charging Station will reappear shortly (under an hour).

The "Limited Power" debuff on the station that says how long it has left seems to be bugged. It keeps resetting back to 1 hour, so it never actually expires. The only way for it to go down is to be destroyed.

I wasn't being offered the quest to pay to use the charger. I had no empty cells. I picked one up from a chest and then she offered the quest. Not sure if it is a coincidence/bug, but maybe you need at least one empty cell for her to offer you the quest to access the charger?

YOU CAN FORCE THE CHARGING STATION ACHIEVEMENT without having to camp it or to wait the passive respawn!

1. Go to an active Charging Station;
2. Use the Charging Station to charge your cells untill troggs comes to attack you;
3. Use a spell to leave fight like Shadowmeld, Feing Death, Vainsh, etc...;
4. Troggs will start to attack the Charging Station instead of you;
5. Wait untill troggs destroy the charging station, it will reappear very soon after it has been destroyed;
6. Contribute to activate it and take achievement!

Takes 1 Energy Cell to activate and lasts for 2 hours. Converts all of your Empty Energy Cell into Energy Cell. I'd wait until you have a bunch in your bag.
