Kyrian or bust it seems lol.
I'm surprised that Necrolords aren't common as top tank covenant, especially for M+, since extra health every 2 mins sounds good on paper.
Hi, i dont like to post such comment but you made it wowhead. How can you say that for survival with comment from grey_hound which is just a copy/paste from one to an other ( to be honest i'm sure he didnt think of covenant since the nerf of pelagos). And like blizzard i think everyone dont care about SV hunter. So please next time it's better to say nothing .(sorry if i use the wrong word english is not my main langage)One of many survival hunter !
Am slightly upset to see Necrolord being the best for Holy Priest. Now that I'm back into raiding I actually wanna do well, and was happy that Kyrian gave me great strength while keeping close to my priests aesthetic. Hopefully between patches in Shadowlands, switching Covenants doesn't become the norm. A little worried not having the "best" Covenant will make finding groups hard, even harder for classes that frankly get denied always anyway.
Just pull the ripcord already!1: choose a Covenant for their lore, quests, weekly stuff, etc2: choose a Soulbind from the 12 for each of your specs, but these should have a week cooldown, conduit swapping doesn't need to change3: choose an Ability from the 4 for each of your specs, freely when in a resting areaDONE.
I'll just put my two cents herePick what you want. Changes will happen after release. Don't end up chasing BiS covenant blindly, swapping every few weeks to get a 2% dmg increase, instead of picking what you want and eventually swapping when things settle down.
i don't understand why only some specs have the same best covenat for m+ and raid, it's not unfair?
Im currently testing DK so if you give me few more days i have the results.
Still Venthyr for Fury, don't think that will ever change luckily.
IMHO the abundance of Kyrian in many specs show that rather than they having an actual best covenant, their covenant choices are so pointless and bad that Pelagus with the extra conduit stands out among them as the best among bad choices.
When are the guides updated for level 60 Shadowlands Content and no more prepatch?

i would love the info how much better the recommended Covenants are than the others. So if lets say Kyrian is best for affliction, how much of a difference does it make if i take venthyr? is it in the 1% margins or is it 10%+?
I really wish we could get more PvP info and testing, but I've seen nothing but Raiding and Mythic+ :(
The difference between most convenants is so small, these guides are a big problem because they always fail to mention that.
That is a lot of kyrian. I wonder what a slight nerf to this will do to everyone's choice. For dps, people say its 10-15% in difference (only counting the dps from covenant from top to bottom), but I think you can easily make up for that tiny percentage by just playing tiny bit better, less movement, more uptime, better CD management. If you just skip the bottom tier covenant, I think you can easily just pick the top 2/3 without an issue, especially when you know that the first month is gonna be a rollercoaster of balance fixes.
I think people are fools if they pick Kyrian only because of Pelagos. Most likely he's going to be nerfed even further. Overall, it's best to pick whatever suits your game style and class best. The best covenant is going to change often.
