haha glad i did this literally the week before the prepatch. didnt even think about this.i'm sure they can just add an easy fix to also implement to adjust the cave aura that increases the duration of the potions to also reduce the cooldown.

Meh.. so it takes 25 minutes. Not even 25 minutes of effort, just 25 minutes. We've done worse grinds for many things. Don't think this is an issue at all as long as there is a workaround.

annoying, watch blizzard patch it so it is 5 minutes of in game time just to make this impossible.
Is it me, or did they also do away with the boa water walking for toons who already had the strider mount?
Funny I was thinking about doing this pet this week.
If Blizz ever does anything at all about this, they're more likely to increase the duration of the buffs rather than lower the cooldowns.

The potion cooldown is terrible. I have no idea why they did it. Was pre-potting such an issue?
Just in case people aren't aware of it so is it significantly less troublesome to get this pet by just buying it on the AH. Often cheaper as well since the mat cost can get really high for obscure old expansion items.
I think it's because now you can use potions during fights and the cooldown timer will continue to countdown, as opposed to before where it was only one potion per fight, locking you out from any other potion use.
