Like you'd imagine that after delaying the entire xpac they would focus on the actual shadowlands stuff that is broken, instead between this change, the drinking nerf and the stealth nerf to old raids like icc i wonder what are they actually doing in there...
What a coincidence ... recently I purchased a bunch of old xmog items from vendors in Stormwind on some of my alts, something like 10-20 items per character ... Since they were only for xmog, I didn't need them taking up space in my bags, but I knew I couldn't sell them back to a vendor for gold right away because of the trade countdown.Well, long story short, they sat in my bags for over a week on almost each alt because I didn't play them more than 10-30 minutes at a time. But each time I did log in, I was sort of annoyed that I couldn't sell them back right away because I had to wait until the trade countdown ended.Of course, this is no big deal, but was just something I recently went through and found annoying ... but this sounds like a good change, as I have never regretted buying something 2 hours after purchasing ... it's either right away or not at all.
THANK THE LORD BABY JESUS... I'm SO SICK of hauling around crap for days on end (on alts I use to collect tmog/toys/events) to finally get the appearances to go account wide.
Delaying Expansion for nerfing gold on old content items that were cheap to start with, changing old mounts method farming with alts, changing the 2 hour timer on items. Shadowlands will be so good! kappa
Well, this actually flows with what Activision's goals for the game are, and for ALL their games, really....screw over the player. Blizz, PLEASE find a way out from under Activision's heel!
Just so you know, I bought the brutosaur from vendor before the patch came with the goal to check how bmah went and sell it back, but honestly:1) I find it weird blizzard would push a hotfix for something only 1 person did, it's not like I did something to get 2.700 rating like rextroy, so to speak2) The first brutosaur spawned today on ravencrest US and its starting bid is 5 mil, no one bid for at least 11h and still not sure it won't end up unsold, but this reinforces the idea that not letting people refund that is silly, cause due to the starting bid, we don't lose anything if we can't refund it
Oh that's why I that thing I bought the day before the pre-patch but wanted to return after it suddenly no longer was able to be returned. I was like "I logged out like 5 min after buying it I definitly wasn't logged in for 2 hours!" Thought pre-patch must have just cleared all timers on items. Guess not. It just counts down while offline now. Huh.
Easy fix, sell what window has 2 options, full refund, lose transmog, partial refund, keep transmog.Wtf, why is that so hard? Then you can buy something and immediately sell it and keep the mog...
Adding a mog as favourite used to clear the timer. Not sure if it still does now.
