I just REALLY hope Nalak can be killed before being tamed though. I need my weekly boxes of disappointment more than you need the dragon pet >:(.

Also, very few colors are actually tameable. There's only wild black, thundering black, heavenly black, thundering red, thundering blue, and heavenly blue. All the others are friendly NPCs to both factions, unless they can be tamed despite being friendly like the battle pets. Just make rep vendors check for the faction exalted achievement in addition to character standing, so you have to get at least one character to exalted to benefit, but then all of your characters could make purchases.

This gating $%^& is tiresome. "Oh, you're exalted with this faction? Well... uh... are you exalted with the *right* character! HOPE THAT ALT WAS WORTH IT"Comment by PeredhilGood luck ever successfully taming Huolon or Nalak.Comment by Raevynwillow512yeah bad luck protection would make amazing sense in pretty much any given legacy content at this point. I would even go far as to say blanket ALL legacy content with it, drops, mounts, pets whatever.

One of the main reasons why most still even play this 15 year old game is because we like to collect cool stuff, and fill out our list of must-haves etc. The problem is..the game is 15 years old. Content from older expansions still requiring so many hoops to jump through to get, that it just does not make sense.

Even as a purist who just chalks it all up to RNG, I am more frustrated than having fun in this game anymore due to such low drop rates or just stuff does not ever drop for me..ever.

I finally got ashes of al'ar in 2016...how many runs? 100's....small victory? Blizzard always has had the philosophy of they want drops and things to be magical when it finally does drop...I get that...but times have changed, people just dont want to run some old raid literally 100 weeks for 1 mount. That is not fun, even when it finally does drop...the feeling is long gone.

If we could make a petition to blizzard, get people behind the idea of drop protection, and not just on mounts, there's a mountain of stuff that could be useful for, including transmog, and drops from rares...how many drops have you gotten even from the mobs in vale or uldum rares? killed 50? got 1 item...every toon. RNG IS NOT FUN WHEN ITS 0.5%

Either increase the drop rate % significantly on all "legacy content" as in like if you are level 60 in SL, then everything prior to SL give us a buff that either increases drop rate % of whatever we are farming or bad luck protection, and dont make it ramp up slowly, ideally make mounts be 1 in 100, but with % drop protection as you climb to 100, gets better % the following weeks.

I know people will say "but I did the grind and got the mount, you should to" and I totally get that, but take a look at the current state of the game, how much is stacked against us players, in terms of RNG and never seeing said mounts. Invincible? Sha Mount? good...luck

Maybe i am just being selfish but 99% of all the frustration in this game is centered on never seeing mounts, drops, mog whatever EVER...100's of runs...and then you see everyone else riding on it, "lol took me 3 tries" is their response...or worse "I didn't even know they dropped a mount". Which then spurs me to go and try for mount again...and...of course still nothing..and the cycle repeats

Lets get behind this idea, i doubt it will ever even come across blizzard's desk but one can dream right?
