I may be in the minority here, but I seriously hope that us losing never happens. I don't want our efforts to be invalidated.
Not sure if all of these "we're dead", "dead vision", "N'Zoth won" comments are joke or people are that naive? or dumb
It's kinda sad that a lot of people's ideas of "the coolest thing ever" is us going off somewhere else for an expansion and then coming back to all the familiar locations we've come to know being either destroyed or straight up gone. I'd like to see some zones have some new story progression but I don't think destroying Azeroth is the way to go with that. Also, jeez, there's a lot of people wasting their time here with a game they hate so much.
uhhh guys...pretty sure if n'zoth won and corrupted azeroth it would be game over for the universebecause like void titans or whatever
keep in mind there have been ALOT of Mythic only phases extending all the way back to MoP with Garrosh. One thing to keep in mind, every Mythic fight followed by a cinematic(Highmaul had a different Mythic final boss phase, but no cinematic, so a different outcome), the outcome never changes, we just get a bit more context to the situation. But this also has exceptions."The Mythic version of the fight is always the "canon" version of the encounter" is also not true, mainly because of the Gul'dan encounter, where the Mythic version is an alternate version of the fight completely. So, heres a break down of each.Lich King - Does have extra abilities and a "phase" that are exclusive to the "mythic"(heroic at the time), but the big reveal with that was that he kills us and we come back to life and finish him. The cut scene follows this.Garrosh - We have one extra vision phase where he shows us the world that he wants with the power of Ya'sharsh, but regardless of the difficulty, upon defeat he is knock out an burns off all his power and is imprisonedArchimonde - normal and heroic, we fight him on Dreanor and he falls and "dies", roll cut scene where he is perma-dead, which is werid. When you do the fight on Mythic you see that the extra phase he pulls us into the twisting nether and fight and kill him there, which forces us and his body back to Dreanor where he dies, which clarifies how he dies permanently, because we dropped him to 0HP in the twisting nether.Argus - Sargeras starts to aid Argus more in the Mythic only phase but ultimately doesnt change the outcome of the encounter where we still defeat(Kill) him and than cut scene.Than there are the other bosses that have cut scenes that arent final bosses.Gul'dan - This fight has 2 different endings. Normal and Heroic, we defeat him and which leads to him being gravely injured, his summoning of Sargeras failing, and Illidan kill stealing him from us.The Mythic fight on the other had has us straight Killing Gul'dan, like dead on the ground and than the Demon Within spawns and we fight that to 0HP, which is than followed by the Illidan killing Gul'dan cut scene, which makes no since for that version of the fight.Kil'jaeden - He has extra abilities and stuff, no bonus phase so no change to the cut scene.Azshara - She has extra stuff, but similar to Kil'jaeden, the fight does nothing to change the cinematic. My point to this is that no matter what happens in the Mythic version of this fight, it will either add clarification to the ending cut scene, similar to Archimonde, or will have no real change like most of the other bosses
