No, vanilla is not harder than retail and never was. Rose-tinted glasses are just that. Vanilla was easy, even the hardest bosses in Naxxramas aren't comparable to the easier mythic bosses today.
Have you cleared any mythic raids in retail ?
All the people that complain about retail difficult and content lenght can now just also be a spectator in classic.
> "Omg Vanilla was so hard back in the day"> WF in one week from game launch, without everyone even being max level.
Okay, I have to ask: How do you get a level 34 in MC? Didn't they already have a level 50 minimum for dungeons like Scholomance, or was that added later? And what do these player even bring to the raid? Not like they could hit the boss or heal any amount of damage, while their buffs are worthless (maybe only the anti fear from dwarf priests)
Classic is hard....... Nice joke!
Superspeed Waterlords reputation, wow!
Almost half the raid was under level 60 but pretty much everyone in the raid has more HP than my t2 mage did in Classic.Their dps warriors are over 5k hp, the tanks are over or approaching 6k. Something is off here and I'm questioning the legitimacy of this just based off supposed gear levels and the health pools not matching up with this at all.Something is just not right. Going off this, we are likely going to be seeing Wrath level health pools halfway through BWL... 6k hp wasn't common until well into BC, but here they are, undergeared, underleveled, a week into classic with BC level health pools.I had 3.2k hp as a geared BWL/AQ40 mage. But yet their mages who aren't even level 60 are beyond that? Okay. How did they survive the surger packs without FR gear? None of this is adding up.
bfa clowns pretending adult neck beards didnt exist or know how to use a keybord and mouse in 2004the final build august 2006 patch 12 was designed for 21 months after launch not for launchevery creatures dmg, hp and abilities outside of naxx were scuffed by thentalents, abilities and gear was buffed by thenzero effort was made to balance that disparity in difficulty of launching with the final patch buildnow bfa clowns can aoe cleave multiple packs of dungeon elites wit zero CC and bosses hitting for 5% hp
Very impressive.
And people were expecting to relive the Classic experience like it was back then yet here we are taking the knowledge from 15 years ago and rushing through the game in less than a week. This version of Classic is basically Timewalking, the only difference is that you have to level first.
There are a lot of people here arguing aesthetics. What an asinine argument. If you enjoy retail, just own it. You don't have to justify it. The fact that there's now a Classic version doesn't HURT you.If you enjoy Classic, just own it. You don't have to justify it. The fact that there's a retail version doesn't HURT you.Play what YOU want to play and stop asserting that you have some Holy Revealed Truth about what other people "should" enjoy and why.https://www.method.gg/raid-historyFrom what I can see, original vanilla (you know, with no real information resources, no pre-release beta, and no organization to start with) Rag took 154 days to down. That they did it now in what, 6 days? is terrific. Then again, according to that same raid history...that's about the same time it takes to down most new bosses:Eternal Palace: 12dCrucible of Storms: 9dDarzalor: 7d...by that measure while downing Rag in 6d is a heck of an accomplishment, considering how much harder current raids are technically than old MC, it's pretty much par for the course for these extremely talented groups of players IN EITHER GAME.Maybe set down the blue/red faction crap for a moment.
Oh wow. Congrats to them.
What they did is mind controlled the scar shield guy in UBRS for a massive FR buff so the molten core mobs did little to no dmg it's a way to cheese the raid
