It's unusual that ancients can be made out of coral, which are animals and not plants. But then again aren't ancients all created by magic in the first place? I wonder who made these.
I got all them, now I'm just waiting for Rockweed Shambler... been killing Algans for two days, still no rare.
i only loot the bark from one of the four , and two of them was golden elite and not grey strange
You can only deliver one of the Ancient barks a week right? It has no use killing the others if you already get the item from the first kill?
Now I want to know the lore behind Coral Ancients.
Now the real question: can these be used to complete the ‘kill 3 rares’ daily quest?
Note for Activating Urduu:He my group killed 3 Staghorn Reefwalkers right in front of Urduu with no response. Then we killed a Whitewave Reefwalker and he responded immediately. So either this info is wrong or it's random which he reacts to.
@Neryssa remove the untrackable from the text, I can still see them on my hunters' minimap thru their class Elemental tracking. Check it out. Ofcourse if there are other near them you might get clamped icons on top of each other.
grants a whopping 350 Reputation with the Waveblade Ankoan/Unshackled, as well as 100 follower experience to all your bodyguards. It should be more clear if you're saying Followers or Combat Allys
For Urdruu its a WHITEWAVE Reefwalker, not Staghorn.
Azshara: Uh me. i did
I assumed the coral ancients were regular forest ancients before Nazjatar plunged into the depths and were eventually corrupted or infused with coral over time and became coral instead of trees/land plants.
Maybe they were tree ancients before the sink hole way back in history. And when the trees started dying and rotting their essence reached out for something else to inhabit and the coral was there and they took them over.
