I love that we're finally getting some tailwind for story-driven lore.I mean, I get that the point of BfA was in securing allies while thwarting threats, but it wasn't really progressing anywhere.-With Sylvannas' schemes, a rising coupe in the Horde, and Jaina's enlightenment (overcoming her past/doubts, and now Derek's return), we're finally seeing some serious drama. Honestly, I'd be surprised if Derek turns on the Proudmoore's at this point. Him finding solace with Calia and a potential new faction of Undead is too good to pass up. Lord, would that indicate Alliance-factioned Forsaken by chance? "WoW: Switzerland" be all and play all; no strict racial-allegiances here! Haha.-I have SO many questions as to where this will lead, but the latest cinematic (and Horde-specific dialogue) makes it clear that the Horde leaders are - at least - wary, and at most, strategically plotting against Sylvannas.-The only thing missing now is a clear depiction of her goal (kudos to Blizz for keeping her motives obscure, albeit "evil"). It used to be securing a way to ensure the Forsaken's survival (as they can only be created via Val'kyr; dwindling in number), but that goal feels like a side-note now.
