YES! SO EXCITED! *Imreadyspongebobsquarepants.gif*
I'm glad that the allied race that made my group of friends all go Horde is finally in the game. Too bad none of them play anymore to take advantage of it.
Kul Tirans still lack customization compared to Zandalari Trolls and definitely compared to base humans.Zandalari simply have a wider degree if customization whereas Kul Tirans are limited to the regular options skin tone, face, hair, and facial hair.Male Kul Tiran: 6 skin colors, 7 faces, 7 hair colors, 6 hairstyles, 11 facial hairs. Female Kul Tiran: Same as above, but 9 hairstyles, no jewelry/accessories in lieu of facial hair.Male Zandalari: 6 skin colors, 5 faces, 6 hair colors, 12 hairstyles, 6 earring choices, 7 tusk choices, 4 tattoo styles.Female Zandalari: 6 skin colors, 5 faces, 6 hair colors, 9 hairstyles, 3 earring choices, 6 accessory choices, 7 tusk choices, 4 tattoo styles. You'd think, at least, Kul Tirans would have some sea-themed tattoo options like the NPCs have, or the women having jewelry. (Or the option to have short hair.) But nah. Also, 210 days between August 14, 2018 and March 12, 2019. 210 days to wait for the Allied Races/nations that headlined the expansion to be playable. People have been dropping like flies and I don't blame them, when they stuck around to make Zandalari or Kul Tiran alts only to find out they weren't coming shortly after release, or 8.1, or even with the raid on Dazar'alor.
You know, as bummed as I was that we didn't get Zandalari trolls at launch, the delay to have them and KT humans available at the same time makes sense from both a story and a PR standpoint. Imagine the vitriol that would come from Horde getting the Zandalari before Alliance got KT, lol. Now -- I personally agree that the wait for both was far too long, whatever the reasoning. Blizz just isn't doing themselves any favours these days in the eyes of the playerbase.
Huge patch downloading right now for PTR. (3.1 gigs) If the KT humans don't have more customisation options in this patch then they aren't coming. I guess KT having crap options makes us even as nightborn got crap options too.

typical for BfA(77 days + some delay) between patches, this time only 2 weeksbut 8.1 had 6 weeks delay, so we should be happy?PS: lbh 8.1 should be at least 4 weeks earlier, and we already should farm new raid in 8.1.5 but blizz had to save the money and stretch patches as much as possible
unfortunely there timeline was really off, rise of azara was suppose to drop sometime this month so ..yeah there behing rise of ashra will not be out prob until . Christmas next year.and I thought they planned way ahead .. so im alittle confused.i have a suggestion they should say ok 8.1 is going to be for 6-8 months then 8.1.5 will be out another 6-8 months after that because I think there giving tentative timeline which people think are hard timeline and there not. , idk why there releasing thingslittlepieces.i think they should not give timelines cause I agree that they should have relased the whole thing on one lump some and so we can play for a year or year I in a half then do a patch or a mini expansion...but im still excited to make my zandalari troll druid..
Pffff, they didn't announce the next allied race yet ?*grins*
I thought it would be out this coming tuesday, the new allied races that is. I made sure to have the whole week off of work to play, but since it's coming out a week later, I'll be working all that week. Talk about timing.
