How many players a actually have all their legendaries? My main is a monk and have 6. 3 which are not Monk specific and 3 that are. This doesn't strike me as catch-up.
In before you can't choose which token you want and they drop as a random RNG like all the other legendaries. I fully expect if I ever complete my legendary collection to start seeing "unidentified legendary" tokens for rogue, priest and all the other classes I don't even play. Amazing!
Should have created more craftable legendaries instead of increasing the odds that you won't get all the legendaries by continuing to add more. Once you get BiS for your spec what good do the non-BiS legendaries do? I hope this is the only expansion featuring legendaries.
i would suprise if it is something logical and not require grinding.
This solve nothing. To get all legendaries for main spec is take an incredible long time vs. the basic leveling of the character. I mean i'm in 940, half cleared ToS raider with 3 months gametime and still missin 2 legendaries, and that is just from the main spec, it still can be dropped for me Prydaz or Sephu.. So seriously? This is only after get all spec specifig legendaries? It's sounds like a joke. You guys need to make legendaries to drop on much higher rate or make them to get a fix at every 2 weeks or something. We are in the finish line of the actual content, everyone just want to pull up 10th alt and maybe play with them as well, but classes is so unbalanced, they need a lot of spec specific legendaries and really hard RNG to get that items in a short time, and now, after so really really fast the leveling and gearing up, nobody want to spent a weeks with an alt just to get a legendary.
Cool, this is useless then.
So no help. I have played one toon one spec basically non stop this whole expansion and just barley have 4 legendary pieces. Raiding, dungeons and world quest along with my guild. Most of them are at 8 and 9 legos.
Well, that's crap. My luck with legendaries sucks. I'd never be able to get all of the legendaries on one class before the expansion ends.
It's little things like this that show Ion and the rest of the Blizzard WoW Team don't play the game anymore. #LiterallyNoOneAskedForThis
I have the top 4 legendaries for my Pally main but only 1 on two of my alts and I just got those two in the past week and two other alts have had no legendary drop. RNG really sucks. This so-called catch up must only exist in fantasy land
I'm not sure why people seem to think this is supposed to be 'the best' way to get legendaries for your alt, cause it's not. These are a nice bonus for those that have all the legendaries to continue to get stuff. Now I happen to hate just about everything about the legiondary system, but bliz is committed to it and this is their way of keeping it relevant for as long as possible.
Now this my friends it's a freaking joke. Thanks.
Poor Druids I guess... They've got 4 specs they need to fill out before one of these could potentially drop. Meanwhile Edgelords only have 2 specs, meaning they'll be getting access to these in half the time of a Druid... Either way, I'm still a long way off getting any legendaries for Arcane and probably won't see one of these until shortly before 8.0. I'd assume a lot of players are in a similar situation. More importantly, this isn't going to make me want to touch my alts. Legendaries are only part of the problem, if they want us playing alts they need to fix AP earnings and professions.
Good Job , Ion.For screwing up the legendary stuff.
I like the idea of Token leg, but the fact that I have to own all legendaries of my spec before is sh*t !
*cries in druid*I play a fair bit and I don't even have all legendaries for the two specs I actually use, never mind the other two. (And never mind that I still don't have my BiS, because RNG decided I should get the terrible ones first.)But no, let's not address any of the actual issues with the legendary system, let's just put random tokens in so the small minority of players who nolifed it and grinded out every legendary for their class can still see orange. The most galling part of all this is the baseline assumption - by a certain section of players and, it seems, by the devs - that if you're not in a mythic progression guild, the legendary system should be perfectly fine for you and you should be happy getting any legendary, because if you're not in a mythic progression guild you're just a scrub casual. Never mind that there's a huge variety of play styles in between the two extremes. Why should I want to do the best I can on my character anyway even though my schedule kees me from raiding mythic? How dare I want to actually play my chosen spec at its most fun instead of a gimped version missing the required legendary effects, on main or alts? Why would I care that I'm getting trounced on meters by people of the same class and spec with equivalent gear and skill just because they won the RNG lottery?Oh, but I forget. Blizzard is so good at balancing. Legendaries that make or break a spec aren't actually a thing anymore. And the mage tower challenges don't exist either.
Only just finish Ret Lego and now working on Prot lego
