I can't wait for the next part of the story. We clearly will hear more about void and light. Each side is fighting for what they think is right.
It was awesome!
I love the deeper insight into the backstory where it really affirms my own feelings that there needs to be a balance of light & shadow rather than one eclipsing the other or being better than...These posters btw are awesome <3
I would love to see more "redeemed" demons. We have light-powered eredar (dranei), we have light powered Dreadlords (Nathrezim), I want to see a purified version of a Pit Lord and what fel beasts might have originally looked like.I also wonder if Blizzard is leading us to kill Titans, because once they are killed, they, like demons, can be reborn again. If their fel-tainted forms can be destroyed, maybe they can be born again to fight the demons and Sargeras.
It's so cool from Blizzard to expand the lore in this kind of ways. I'm eager for more lore stuff like this!
Super entertaining and very well written, it's so nice having big chunks of lore like this! Both the light and shadow are definitely flawed, but I loved the explanation with "light seeks one path and all others are false, shadow seeks all paths and all are true". Very good comparison!
I had an avalanche of feels from the audio, ranging from satisfaction at learning more about these literally mythical characters to shock at the way we view Light and Shadow being called into question. I've been unsubbed for a while due to time and finances, but the massive amounts of lore are making me come back to experience it for myself.
Truly amazing and exciting reveal of Alleria. As a demon hunter fanatic I understand wielding the enemy's power and using it against them so I hope her story develops well!
I hope the next expansion will be about Kul Tiras and Jaina as main antagonist. With a great confrontation between Alleria & Jaina in the end of the expansion itself. Jaina will be enslaved by the Old Gods (N'Zoth I guess) and Alleria will use all her shadow powers to help the players defeat this abomination.Sounds great, doesn't it? =)
This is indeed some of the better backstories lately. The posters look incredible!
Loving all the lore things, though glad that they are doing the audio dramas! In my native language (Polish) I can listen to Milogost Reczek, the man does it so nice that I marvel about having many more stories as audio dramas. Keep it up Blizz!
i was at the edge of my seat with how well Alleria's character developed. the narration of how the light is sometimes absolute and evil when you see it with clear eyes was breathtaking. may your audiobooks never dull
I truly love these audio drama's they are putting out now. The Tomb of Sargeras one they released before the patch was great as wel.Keep doing these Blizz, we love em!(also damn these posters look amazing!)
Wonderful voice performances complete with sound effects! I'm a big 'ol audiobook fan and had no idea these even existed - THANKS WoWhead for introducing me to yet something else I didn't know about! The story so brings these characters alive outside of them just being in-game talking heads. It really helps paint the whole picture.
These look awesome!I dunno what's gonna happen with them, but I seriously hope so it's not gonna be something cheesy, like hollywoodish cheesy junk which blizzard manages to shovel in every once in a while. I guess Alleria could die in a sort of ultimate sacrifice to the shadow/light conflict. I just hope so she'll be able to meet with everyone she wants first, and &*!@#slap Sylvanas of course.
I'm usually in love with all the Lore that Blizz comes up with, and while I don't hate what they're doing as it is interesting, I'm not totally sold on the direction they're going. I mean, how many times are we going to have a character go down the path of power to save Azeroth? Illidan, Arthas, et. all.
I have been a huge lore geek for ages. I've followed everything wow lore has to offer. Furthermore, i've read every scrap of information regarding it. I have to say this has to have been one of the most emotional bits of lore to digest. Listening to part 3's ending nearly left me in tears. On a more serious note, I like that Blizzard are embracing the idea of Shadow and Light are both powers that have their pros and cons (f.e. Think Holy vs Shadow priests). I would be interested to learn more about the Locust-Walker. Are there others that master the void but have not fallen to madness? Just because Lortraxion doesn't know of any doesn't mean there aren't. What if apart from the Army of the Light there's also an Army of the Shadow which has similar objectives? Furthermore, if the Legion was defeated, would those masters of shadow side with us (the players) or would they side with with the Void Lords?I love speculating and I think these are very exciting times for the wow lore.
I like to listen to the soundtrack of world of warcraft, so audio would too. It's good on the road. :)
I really like the voice acting in the audio dramas. The music in the background is also a nice touch! It's very interesting to see Alleria and Turalyon's backstories.
I love these types of formats. This makes the world of warcraft seem more alive! I have played this game and read up on the world for years and this gave me a few more answers to questions I had. The posters are just amazing and I hope to see more great things.
