Well, I suppose I can deal with no flying for WoD, although it makes me sad that all those beautiful flight mounts rot away because I'm just not going for birds and dragons incapable of flight. It's sort of depressing and a reminder that one of my favourite features has been taken away to make random strangers happy. I know how stupid that sounds but I just miss it all the time for various reasons that have been explained by hundreds of players before me.Aaanyway, I hope for the next expansion. They can't keep this no flying crap up forever right? I mean once the initial excitement is over and people get bored of Draenor people will start wanting it back...
I really don't understand the desire for no flight. You don't have to fly. Continue to run around on the ground if you want. Some claim it makes you slow down and appreciate the game more, you get to sight see more, experience more of the game... Great, some of us do that anyway without the restriction. I actually enjoy the environment better when I'm not swamped by mobs and can take my time going from point A to point B instead of running like crazy and collecting a train of stuff trying to kill me along the way. Not to mention the lack of detail on the map and the varying land levels and minimal pathways. If I have to walk a tight rope, jump a bunch places, or do a wowhead search in order to figure out how to reach something, I'll skip it. That's not why I play. But continuing to limit how I play based on players who have to have a restriction in order to not do something, that's just silly. Don't want to fly? Don't fly. Don't make me play the way you want to just because you know as soon as it's available, you'll be flying.
oi , magic rooster sounds cool to me
More Garrison! More Garrison!
Garrisons are WoD specific? That is super disappointing. Let us move our garrisons to various locations in Azeroth, and take our followers with us!Really sad to see such huge amazing content be left behind and become irrelevant. Seems like a lot of work to just drop after 1-2 years. Hope there is something similar but better in next expansion!
To those who think travel in Draenor is hindered without flying, take a close look when you're on a flight path. You go way faster than 310% speed and its more convenient because you don't have to baby sit your character. There are other methods of travel too. If you haven't noticed, theres a portal to stormshield in the t3 garrison. Its on top the tower outside your mine. (Alliance) This allows you to place your hearthstone in the far reaches of draenor. This combined with the garrison hearth has given me plenty of travel options. As for the experience of being grounded, the ama has a good point. Apexis dalies are more engaging. Jumping deadly gorges in nagrand is exciting. (everything about nagrand's landscape is wonderful) Exploring is much more rewarding with the amount of treasure there is to find. You never know whats around a corner or atop a hill until you put the effort in to check. Theres less appreciation for these things with the ease of flight.People who say that flying is a choice whether its enabled or not don't understand that many players would feel limited by this lifestyle choice. If the best method of travel is a flying mount, then how could i compete with gatherers or world pvpers. My time is important to me so should i fly to get to the content faster or take the scenic route?tl:dr-there are currently better travel options than a 310% flying mount-flying makes exploration less rewarding and the environment less exciting-players who opt not to fly would feel they are unnecessarily limiting themselves
I don't have time for no-flying, why can't they &*!@ing see that?
My favorite was definetily Challenge Modes - Acquiring Best Gearit got me into the whole raiding thing, and i'm thankfull for that!
The biggest problem with racials(which blizz wont listen to us about) is orc/troll and human. Orc and troll have powerful on use racials for both pve and pvp, with no alliance equivalent. Same with human, powerful PvP racial, with no racial on horde side even coming close. So the top guilds try to stack these races for what they are doing(pvp/pve). And since every other guild follows what the top guilds do(like sheep), it trickles down to everyone else. A lot of people on the WoW forums have been saying this since wrath, but blizz has done nothing, not even admit that this is an issue.
No flying in Draenor (apart from - kinda - Aviana's Feather) - and I'm OK with that. The whole map just feels so much bigger and imposing. I wouldn't really mind if it went like that beyond 6.1, honestly.
Hello again :) so how long you guys think this expansion will last? Because they are already talking about final boss...will it be like a half year expansion?
I would like a big rooster to ride around on please...
I have been disappointed in professions overall so far this expansion. For the reasons they even commented on, everything you want to make is gated behind cool downs. No, I am not advocating all the gear being available on day 2, but it would be nice if everything was not tied to being upgraded by the barn. Feels like MoP dailys again. Level to 100, level barn to 2, run work orders 7, 14 at a time with max 6 a day, finally hit magic number to buy level 3, run more work orders for a *chance* to get a blood. Try to collect 15 through this system is bleh. My problem with this is, it is the *only* way to get the Savage Bloods through a craft. 50 Primal Spirit per 1 seems a bit excessive, would like to see it at 25 like most other mats.
