To the people complaining about the human female's eyes being too wide open (and I agree, she's perpetually surprised) - all of the shots are the same face (except the very last), they're just showing off the different hair/skin styles. Look at the color of her eyes and the shape/color of her lips. There's always at least one ugly face :) Im looking at you, old wrinkly/scowly face.As for the NE giant hands, well.. you wont notice when the gloves are on. The BE and panda females both have unnaturally long fingers which drives me insane when the gloves are fingerless. Fortunately, with a dark colored transmog, it all blends in and isnt so obvious.Wowhead, when you do your videos, I agree with the person who commented on all the wasted space. Maybe you can have them do one less gesture per set and give us a standing idle shot of the old & new models closer together. Like, upper torso, so we can see better detail for comparison.
There will be an option to have new models or, though it will either be on or off, no in-between. I believe it will be a graphics option. I love the NE's. They actually look like what they are; a beautiful, agile, finesse race. Their current models do not really display this AT ALL (besides their movement). The lips and eyes are huge and ugly. I think they just look more like splotches on the face. Their eyes and mouths look SO much better with this new model. I do not think it looks like a guy AT ALL. Wait until the NElf male comes out, then maybe you will see :).And the undead, I LOVE it. I don't know what you are talking about, but this new model looks so much more undead-y and not crappy graphic-y. It gives them so much more personality imo.The Draenei, it looks really good, but not one of the races that I am dying to see and play with new models.
Am I the only one that noticed that little skirt-like thing on the undead where the belt should be? It appears to just be a bug in the textures as it cuts through the underwear on the naked model, but if not i dont know what bliz was thinking with it.
I'm having a nerdgasm seeing these new models! The only one I think they need to tweak is the female and maybe the male gnome. I find the eyes to be WAY too big and anime like. It looks cute and all but maybe just a tab but smaller.
These are great. I can't wait to see the next models.
wow full facial animations! i think WoD is gonna bring me back to the game full time. i love eeeeettt!
Love the new Night Elf female look. We have toes and toenails! Yeah I know, I'm weird.
i swear i was just looking at some newer versions of the male undead models... can't find that news item - maybe it was removed... :)regardless, i just wanted to voice that overall the models are looking absolutely beautiful. i am disappointed and a bit confused as to the undead male having the shoulder bones stick up as such a strange angle. it just looks weird to me. anatomically it just looks wrong. yes i am an artist.i will be happy if they fixed that up a bit, and of course i pray that my spine doesn't stick through my cloak any more ;)great work blizz!
Nitpicking here, but I really, really hope they change the female human/NE hands & feet, especially the feet -- they look like frigging hobbit feet.
UNDEAD ARMOR SET. for those of you looking for it. Here it with a model viewer and all. Scroll down to Draenor Dungeon and go to the Mail sets. Enjoy :)http://www.wowhead.com/news=236594/warlords-of-draenor-transmog-preview-3d-armor-sets#crafted-leather
Not one of the female Night Elf faces look even remotely like the original. My 90 Mage used to look very exotic, she now look like she's from Eastern Europe somewhere... It's quite bizarre! I'm considering a race-change to Draenei (at least the almost-generic faces are soft on the eyes) but that would be throwing good money after bad. I'm probably just going to "bury" her and concentrate on my other characters while I cool down about it all or get used to playing an "older woman" ;). Perhaps Blizz may take pity on us and make another attempt to make the Night Elf female faces at least attractive (and not so darn OLD looking!), however I very much doubt that that is going to happen.
