I love playing mages and sometimes priests, but mostly the warlock type a destructive plague inflicting, curse afflicting, flame thrower.
I preffer the plate persuasion, tough and gruff.
I usually play a warrior, myself, for my first character. I usually end up playing more than one though. In WoW my main ended up being a mage.
I've always been attracted to thief-like classes; I've been playing a rogue since Vanilla WoW .. just hit 85 actually yesterday on my Rogue :)
Melee DPS or tank. Cause I like to be in the faces of the stuff i kill.
What do I play? It really depends on the RPG. If I can play something that BOTH casts spells (preferably the healy kind) AND hits things in the face at the same time, then I'm totally sold in most cases. Of course, two-handed weapons or healers are a close second I also like to toy with. So I guess mostly your "battle mage" archetype - heavy armor, sharp pointy weapon, and spells, if I can get away with it.
I love to be the tank. Seems the most important role, and I enjoy the responsibility.
Healer! The only way to FLY!
I almost always end up playing mages or wizards. There's just something about spells. SPELLS!
I find I usually favor playing Caster classes, preferably with minions. Necromancers and Warlocks. Pretty spells and the like. :3
I usually play caster DPS only, but recently I got addicted to melee DPS... I'll probably never go back.
i enjoy playing a stealthy dps of sorts... my actual pants don't have a big enough dexterity boost :(
