most certainly Hallows End. Simply because all the different things you can do or be during the holiday, the look and feel of the environment and don't forget the atmosphere in towns
Brewfest; Think it's the only holiday I even got all achievements for (I always seem to miss on completing one or two of the rest), with Hallow's end running a close second, and day of the dead a third (if it only had more features!)That Brewfest was my first holiday experience in game (just a few days after first joining) might have something to do with it. There was suddenly an awful lot of drunk people staggering around, hic'ing to their hearts content. Being the clueless player I was, I got to discover everything on my own, including the invisible wolpertingers that none of my quite sober friends seemed to be able to see (and got me wondering for a second if it wasn't, indeed, a drunken hallucination); That made for one of the best first experiences in WoW. It's still the only holiday I actually look forward to in the Wow calendar.
Brewfest, how can you argue with pink elephants?
Favorite holiday is Hallow's End of course, because it offers me the chance to get the Horseman mount that I still don't have :( lol
My favorite WoW Holiday Event would HAVE to be Children's Week. I love getting my own little orphan to follow me around on my adventures!
Feast of Winter Veil. I've always been a fan of the winter.. snow.. grim and frostbitten Azeroth! RAA!I just wished there would be a thick layer of snow (or permafrost, wink) over everything during the feast. But oh well.
Winter Veil because it reminds me of my own Christmas (including the orcs and stinky trolls). It's just a fun time for the whole world.Being online and having it be all Christmassy and then going downstairs to have IRL Christmas is so neat!
My favorite holiday is Winter Veil. While Christmas is not my favorite real life holiday, the implementation of the holiday spirit in its pixelated form makes me smile every year. There are many situations during Winter Veil that hint at other popular holiday stories, like A Christmas Story and Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas, that make me chuckle as I reminisce about my childhood. The gift giving under the tree in our respective faction cities also adds the element of excitement that is present in real life holiday celebrations.
Love is in the Air, because:1. Many opportunities for tasteless in-game sexual puns.2. 85% of the rest of the WoW population hates this holiday and I find that sadistically funny.3. Big Love Rocket. Nuff said.
Considering I avoid doing the holiday quests, I'd have to say that my favourite is Hallow's End, because the daily dungeon gives more gimmick loot than the others.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?Lunar festival, I like the feel of it being a nightelf centric person. We also seem to be having new stuff this year so that will be awesome! My other hobby during this holiday? TRYING To get my guild master drunk (in character as we're rpers), been trying for about 4 years now, still have a stack of moonglow in my pack from that long ago for that purpose. One year i will get Tharion drunk...yes i will...
Hallow's End is the best, raiding with a bunch of pirates and Skeletons is just cool!
Winter Veil! I love Christmas and I love celebrating it in-game with guildies. Also, presents. Presents! Yay, presents!
It would have to be children's week i mean c'mon who doesn't want a cute oracle to follow you around!
