Harvest festival. It's a very under rated event mostly because there are no achieves or anything special about it. but as a member of the horde, I find it awesome that we go and pay tribute to the man that helped free the orcs from the fel-taint, and thus, helped the horde come into being. Which, is pretty damn awesome if you ask me.

Mine would be Hallow's End. This is mainly because of the fact that when I started playing, it was the first holiday I encountered. And besides, who couldn't love messing around with people and turning people into bats and wisp to annoy them?
"I woke up, finding myself in the middle of a wide bed. I try to stand up as i hear my bones creek in the silent of the night. I overslept again. Last night passed quickly as i found myself hunting those zealots of the scarlet crusade under orders from Executor Zygand. As dawn broke i found myself seeking refuge in the city of brill to rest for the day. ""It is now way past midnight. I raise my body and sit on the bed. I look around and i see a faint green light coming from somewhere above me. A candle placed on top of a skull upon a large bookshelf is shining with a clam flame. An impressive collection of rare and common books alike is placed disorderly within the numerous shelves of the wooden furniture. i turn my head the other way and get up. As i stand on my legs a series of candles placed atop a large candle stand in the other corner of the room suddenly lit up. The sudden appearance of light blinds me at first. As my eyes gradually get accustomed i notice a pair of coffins in front of me, one of them half open with a wrapped corpse placed inside. My lips form a smile as i reminisce my own Awakening.""I retrieve my hood and my staff from the chest in front of the bed and start to slowly descend the stairs towards the lower floor. As I near the exit i hear screams and shortly after, a sudden burst of laughter. I rush out of the inn but i stop as soon as i take but a step out of the door. In front of me lies a giant pumpkin with 3 weird holes curved on it. I turn my head right only to see a skeleton and a ninja talking. On my left a cat runs around chasing a snake and above me brooms soar through the night sky. On the building down the street a crowd reaches in a pumpkin picking up candy and various other random items. A few yards away a group of three diving their heads in a large wide barrel, picking up apples with their mouths. Upon seeing all these, i came to a sudden realization. Hallows End was here!"And that is my favorite holiday. By far. The candies, the dress-up, the whole story behind it and the myths always intrigued me. I think this specific holiday is imported into wow up to a magnificent level. This year my favorite addition was the black cat companion. I just love how it rides it's own magic broom whenever i mount up. And it flies as well!"And so let's soar through the starry sky, accompanied by witches, with goblins running on the ground, as pumpkins laugh sinisterly around every corner., and as the headless horseman rises, we again rise towards the full moon."
For me personally, It has to be Hallows End. I've always really enjoyed the theme of horror!
The Midsummer Fire Festival is my favorite in-game holiday because the model for Ahune is pretty ballin' and the staff has a gnarly model. :) Plus, I'm pretty sure this was the first holiday to add in some sort of token that you needed to collect in order to purchase vanity items.
I would have to say my favorite WoW holiday is a tie between the Midsummer Fire Festival and Pirate's Day. I'm an achievement junkie so Midsummer got me out seeing areas of the game I hadn't explored yet and experiencing world PvP, which I now love to gank any flagged player I come across(I'm on a PvE server). Pirate's Day will always be my favorite for the pure fact that it is on my birthday; not only in game but in real life as well, people are dressed up and talking like pirates which is always very entertaining to me.Well I guess they're all kind of my favorite because after all my hard work of getting the achievements I finally got my first proto drake with What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been, along with a good sum of gold!
Brewfest definitly
I love doing all the achievements for each one of the holidays (especially the ones where you get to pvp the other faction!) and this year I will finally get my mount for the What a Long Strange Trip its been achieve! But if I had to pick just one, I would have to say Winters Veil, as it coincides with my favorite IRL holiday Christmas (and the entire Christmas holiday season!) One of my favorite things about winters veil is the gnome transmogrifiers that change you into a gnome! They are just too cute! I love collecting pets and mounts (and achievements) so that is another added bonus of all the holidays because there are always lots of special goodies to be earned!Good luck everyone!
Winter Veil, for it's lack of complete world coverage in travel each year, and of course the presents.
Winter Veil is my favorite Warcraft holiday event. Brings back memories of Vanilla WoW and farming Owl people for there eggs to make my first grand. Good Times!
