If you ask me the game needs and entire new engine. Perhaps a different game because if the quantity of stamina now is a LOT, imagine a new expansion... Also several new machanics like the new Mastery Rating and original instances because so far Cata is a remake of Vanilla.
I doubt it's gonna be an expansion. There is just too little amount of lore about Pandaria and the Pandarans and I really can't see how Metzen can come up with an entire expansion's worth of new lore about them.I'm thinking it'll be a content patch, with or prior to the patch that adds Deathwing's raid. Maybe the Pandarans come to the mainland seeking help because of the Cataclysm. Or hell, maybe the Pandaran faction will be the faction associated with Deathwing's raid just as the Ashen Verdict was ICC, Ashtongue Deathsworn was BT, etc.Honestly I can't even think of what the next expansion could even be about. They did Draenor (Although there is still a ton of Draenor that they never touched), Northrend and now they came up with the Cataclysm. Unfortunately the Caverns of Time covers pretty much every major event from the past, otherwise they could do an entire expansion related to the Bronze Dragonflight taking you into the past, maybe starting at the War of the Ancients, or the Elemental Sundering and working your way to the present.
i think it would be AWSOME, but if its a separate faction or neutral who would you pvp against?
Many seem to forget that even it started as an Appril's Fools joke, the players liked so much the Pandaren race that Blizzard actually wrote them into lore a good while ago.And Mists of Pandaria, as an expansion sounds cool (the name may be dumb but it is misterious) ...it's not just about pandas as many haters like to think, it would be about a whole new continent east-Asian themed ...they can amaze us.I don't think the Pandaren will be playable, more like a combination of what the Kalu'ak and the Kirin Tor were on Northrend ...my lore reason: the Cataclysm unveiled the location of the island/continent and it got invaded, althought the Pandaren fought back, they couldn't resist anymore, so before they go into extinction, they ask for help from the Alliance and the Horde who recently defeated Deathwing. As a gift for they help, they agree to teach the secret arts of the Monk to a select chosen. Now it sounds good for an expansion don't it? ...as for who the evil mind behind all this and his/her reasons ...that's the mist right there (mistery) ...i'm glad that for once we don't know who the major villian is.

No one noticed it can also be a new mousepad?Like, a panda shrouded in the mist with some epic, vague castle in the background.Would be a nice one.But frankly I think it would better be an expansion for Starcraft.Tauren marines are getting old, now it is time for the Panda Special Forces! :DThe Zerg creeps will never know what hit them!
mmm im lvl 85 and my proff are max out, stil i have items with 5 points and orange i can make....so maby........to lvl 100 yeah
I don't care what it does as long as we can FINALLY access ALL hairstyles and colours for every race and gender. JUST SAYING!
Some people are not looking at this from a marketing/money point of view. Simply put Panda = awwww so kyoot! me wanna save da pandaz! There will be millions of kids the world over wanting to play Pandaren and many existing players too I'd imagine, plus Pandas can sell lots of accessories (collectors edition with "free" Pandaren anyone?) and they are popular the world over, especially in China. The Chinese economy has been growing at around 10% for many years and has a growing middle class. Being able to increase their reach in that market alone would outweigh any loss from a few existing players spitting the dummy out because they don't like Pandarens.Spun right, this could attract a lot of new casual players and expand the playerbase. As for lore, I doubt Blizzard are running out of ideas, the relative dearth of lore about Pandaria makes it perfect to let their imaginations run wild. Pandarens may be the central theme of any potential expansion, but that doesn't mean there can't be a lot of other content too.
