Avast ya admiral because its so cool to be known as a pirate!and if you done the quest you look like a pirate!so quest + achi = AWESOME LOOKING PIRATE!
Veteran of the Shifting Sands , Scarab Lord is better, but I wasn't fast enough on my server. I am still really proud on this one, since not many people have it. And I did the whole chain, experienced all the epic things in the chain. I was just not fast enough, which doesn't really matter to me, I did still complete everything, and did the same things as the 'Scarab Lord' people. I loved the chain so much, I wish I could do it again! Sad that they removed it in cataclysm.

I wouldn't say I have a very specific achievement I like. I loved on my first toon how every 10th level I made, there it was saying congratulations and that there is more world to explore (since at the time you could make it to level 80 at most). It was fun exploring along the way too, getting that achievement made me very happy as well. Although I don't have very many achievements, they are still fun to do. Especially the ones that give you titles (mostly because they are fun for role-play). <3
Doing Firefighter (10 player) prenerf on my priest.
I'm most proud of "Menagerie." As an pet collector, this achievement pretty much shows where I put all my energy. It's the 5 times I had to fish up Mr. Pinchy to get the magical crawdad, and the one-kill-drop I got for the Crimson Whelping, and the 10,000+ kills I've made for the firefly I haven't gotten yet. It's the reason I went into engineering (for the pets!) and the reason I spent so much time on the auction house. It really encapsulates my "gotta catch'em all" spirit for WoW.
This Legionnaire, PvP in the no-resilence Era, where AV last for like 12hrs minimum on my server, where Top #1 for the week would have to score minimum 1.2M of Honor (on my Server) to obtain the top ranking 13K pts for that week after the decay.Which for me was impossible since I couldn't spend all day playing the Game :) work had to come 1st :D
I am most prod of achieving "What a Long Strange Trip It Has Been". Plus I am about to finish it on a second toon during the Summer Fire Festival.
World ExplorerMany people frown upon this one as it's supposed to be too easy. I, however, like it, because it takes you to places most people have never visited.

Well... pointing to one single achievement would be hard, as I never truly aimed to get any of them, perhaps aside from the Long Strange Trip one, which didn't exactly fill me with pride, as there wasn't anything hard about getting it. As such, I think I'd have to go for one of the guild achievements, not that my guild have any of the hard ones, but those we do have, we got by working together. We're a small guild, and our focus isn't on PvE or PvP, so we actually do get our act together to complete an instance or the like, there is a sense of achievement when we finally down the last boss and get that 'ding' acievement sound.
For me I would say "honorable kills" Will be the best achievements. It feels so good when I'm beneeth lvl 20 and still get like 3K HK.PVP is the funniest and most challenging mechanics in wow, and still impressing me everyday.
Personally What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been is the achievement that I am most proud over. it took me a year extra to do because I got hacked during the last days of brewfest and weren't able to complete all achievements, so I sat there for a year crying with 3 missing achievements from one of the coolest dragons in the game :(. But now I have it and I felt so happy flying around northrend on my new fresh Violet Proto-Drake
