This really looks like it could have some use to it!The funny thing is, at BlizzCon they said they were getting rid of stats that made things "too math-y"......I can see more people breaking out the calculators than ever before with this in place! I know they also said at BlizzCon that this ability was going to our existing blacksmiths, engineers, tailors, etc. and I'm kinda bummed that they decided against that (or so it seems), but I'm glad they didn't just trash it altogether, like the Path of the Titans. As long as we're getting it, I have no problem visiting the NPC occasionally.
Really, if a healer is going to roll onto a caster item because he can reforge the 60% hit into mastery he is a ninja looking for an excuse for rolling on the item, and of those ones already exist and we won't be getting rid of them any time soon sadly.
Only for Elemental Shaman and Balance Druids get hit rating for Spirit. What I was saying was that reforging is not an excuse to roll on something not itemized for your spec.
Very good point! It's so annoying when you need tiger/monkey as rogue/feral druid and you are stuck with falcon or wolf. It'll make it so you can buy that 1g pc instead of spending 30g on the "right" one.
whats next? un-binding soulbound items?
