Contrary to Popular Belief, Cataclysm Alpha Still Under NDA

still under NDA

The NDA is still in effect and has not changed in any way. We have already clarified this here:

Unless we clearly state otherwise, please continue to assume the NDA is in place and in full effect.

You did not sign any NDA, did you?
The NDA applies to players that play the alpha. To nobody else. If one of them decides to share information it's not your problem. You are not bound by some NDA somebody else signed.

Just imagine how stupid the whole concept would be.
"Hey, I'm the New York Times and I'd totally love to run that story on the strange/evil contracts this company does. But since they singed an NDA with some random dude I musn't ever post news about it."

edit: oh, and i realize the cataclysm site did a LITTLE updating but really, nothing i've seen is exciting at all. not like the alpha leaks.

BTW, i love the star wars and hobbit references. ^^ I wonder if Thundermar and Kirthaven will be the home of the new kobald models? They look sweeeet. The horde seems to be doing well under PROPER leadership too. This isn't some necessary leak for public safety its a decent company getting screwed by those who were trusted.

Boub from MMO-Champion is not in the Alpha and is not breaking any NDA by posting anything. If you have the Alpha Client on your computer, you can explore the world with a Sandbox by connecting to your own local server, which shows the environment and no mobs no players nothing interactive.

Boub has an inside source at Blizzard OBVIOUSLY and that is how he is so accurate with patch release dates and inside information that no body else knows.
