Very nice and explains the fight wellDang you nec :PEDIT: Oh gryphon you are always so quick to edit even when the "first" is an afterthought to actual thoughts
Nice work
That works too, I guess. We just found it easier with an OT - but then, our top DPS were really high, so we didn't suffer from lack in that department and could afford the trade...
Nerf Scrapbots seems to be missing from the achievements.
Hmm, I thought it was missing an achievement, but I wasn't sure which one. Added now.
Need to add another " to the end of the sound file scripts for them to work in-game ;)
Thank you, and fixed :)
nice guide :Pi think someone wants http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45868... i wonder who.
I've a suggestion, ArgentSun. I see you've been making many Strategists posts lately. Then why not make a locked post-it that references them all, since none of your Strategist posts are stickies? A bit like what Gryphon does with his Helpful Threads.
Dancing Deconstructor.Yes? No? Back to Randomness?
Yes.
Ah. Yes. Not bad either ;)
I agree... partially. I see why you will want your Gravity Bombs victims to run to only one side. This is logical and it certainly helps. The only reason we do it so randomly and chaotic is because some of our raiders (especially the new ones) are having trouble improvising. So we used to end up with people running to the right with Searing Light, then as soon as they are out of the group, it hits them - "I should have gone to the left!", and now they run through the entire group, brainlessly, damaging everybody twice. But I honestly didn't have a lot of trouble with the Life Sparks, being the OT to take care of them. Yes, I did have to run around like a fool, but the 30 yards range on my Exorcism and Avenger's Shield made sure I grab the adds more surely than with Consecration (which is a spell I hate, by the way - ticks are so underpowered).I am not certain why you would want your melee stacking however. Let me look at an example quickly.Let's assume it takes a person charged with Searing Light 2-3seconds to get out of range. Gravity Bomb is not really an issue, as it doesn't damage the raid until after it detonates - and if people are at least half decent, it won't hit anybody extra. So if you have one melee group, that's the entire group being hit by Searing Light for 2-3 seconds. It shouldn't kill anybody, but it's quite a bit of damage for your healers to take care of. Especially during a Tantrum. If you have two groups, however, the Searing Light will damage only half of your melee. I understand that one group is easier to heal during Tantrums, but two are easier to heal during Searing Lights - and you get more SEs than you get Tantrums.Maybe the ultimate solution would be to have 2 groups that merge just before a Tantrum (so the Daze doesn't get them)?
/clapI've been waiting for the XT one :)Just a little typo I think... You keep referring to Searing Light as SE. Shouldn't that be SL? Or am I missing something?
/facepalm
